This cafe is great for breakfast and coffee/ tea. Plenty on the plate and very friendly staff. And very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit

We where there today 18th December 2024. Ordered burgers and chips for 3 people. Food was not good at all. The burgers smelled not good and we all felt sick after. The worst place I have ever been too. Very disappointed. I don't know how they have some good reviews. The burgers were something like you would find at a cheap burger joint. 17 pounds we paid for each burger and they were not worth that by no means. Very poor to say the least.

Excellent service and friendly and the food was excellent 5 stars as i am chef and a food critic myself and poached eggs with avocado on sourdough with bacon was so delicious and amazing. LordDillion

First time visit for us but daughter and husband had been here before and thought we would like it, and we did. It’s a small venue so would assume that booking a table would be essential. The restaurant does small plates of food as well as a few larger choices. We went for the small plates and had about 5/6 between the four of us. Great variety of tastes amongst the dishes which included a whole plaice, chicken skewers, green beans (so good we had an extra portion) smashed and fried new potatoes. It’s a little noisy but a good atmosphere, our waitress was friendly and chatty and knowledgeable. They apparently have a steak night once a week which we might do on the next visit to NI.

Morelli’s ice cream is nice and creamy which I like... I got the salted caramel which is quite rich and really nice. Very good ice cream!

Friday Night is fish n chips night but so disappointed with this place. Girl at till taking orders has zero personality. Prices are probably the highest in the area if not whole of greater Belfast Area. £13 for a cod supper. But the waiting time for an order is ridiculous. I waited 25 mins for two fish suppers and many of the other customers were making jokes about how long it was taking. The problem is the priority is given to phoned in or online orders. Walk-in customers go to the back of the que. Also, their card machine doesn't work so you have to go outside to the Tesco ATM to pay in cash. When eventually we got our order the food was average. There are other outlets in Holywood. I would recommend any of them rather vthan this place.
