Absolutely shameful that you would allow customers to make reservations (with a full confirmation!) for a restaurant that is closed!!

We were looking for a hidden gem and indeed we found it! A real Italian, rustic and felt like I was back in Italy in the 80s. So nice waiter. Not huge portions but would say correct Italian portion. Pasta vongole so tasty. And a simple statement no parmesan for you by the waiter, as it should be! The daughter loved pappardelle with meatballs, the meatballs were small and tasty, perfect so you could easily get a meatball with the pasta, good mushrooms and very good tomato sauce. And the espresso finally I got a nice cup in London. Loved it!!

Fabulous atmosphere with the best staff & exceptional food. We went there for our sons 15th birthday. I told the restaurant ahead of time and they couldn't have been nicer. The put a candle in his dessert and all sang happy birthday 🥰 Staff were so lovely. Will definitely be back

Very tasty food, you didn't have to wait long but it was a great restaurant and the service was great

I'd booked Stefs on Berners Street back in August for good friends 40th & 50th birthday celebrations this weekend mainly because it was right under the apartment we were staying.

Fabulous service, food was good and hot. Nice coffee - although bigger cups would be nice! Price reasonable for London. Downside are the toilets, just not enough of them and having to hang about outside the entrance at the top of the stairs is not ideal!

Seems less taxi drivers going in there, as owner keeps ramping up prices. Food and staff are great. Doesn't seem fair to the people who work there.

Wonderful service and delicious pasta. The new family who run this place are doing a great job. I’m addicted to the Di Carlos pasta and my daughter loves the Nutella pizza on sourdough. 100% recommend this local gem.

Très bonne cuisine, cadre agréable et propre, personnel très agréable et professionnel, MAIS , nous avons été servis trop vite, entrées, plats, café en 45 minutes. On avait l’impression d’être dans une fabrique à sous”allez dépêchez vous et partez” dommage 😏

I had dinner at Scarpetta, I’ve booked it as after reading some of the reviews, it seemed like a good restaurant and it’s certainly a nice one but still it wasn’t what I expected it to be First, it’s a lot more causal than the pictures seems to show There’s a limited selections of dishes and all or most are pasta based, obviously as an Italian restaurant you expect pasta dishes but most will have a bigger variety to choose from I’m certainly taking responsibility of not checking enough, I thought it’ll be more than it was and it wasn’t - the food was still fresh and tasty

Italian restaurant in the heart of London, live music and a very nice and welcoming environment. We had the pleasure of meeting a very easygoing and friendly staff member of Calabrian origins. Refined cuisine and fair prices for the location. I highly recommend it for a romantic dinner in your London stay
