Amazing night and brilliant food. We had a 9 month old baby with us and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Reka was brilliant. Knew the menu and gave us great advice on what to order. She was really helpful and friendly.

My recent visit to Cafe Nero for a complimentary coffee left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, I must commend the cafe for its quick and efficient service. The staff was prompt in delivering my order, and I appreciate the speedy process. However, the overall experience took a hit when the coffee, though complimentary, was served at a temperature that could rival the sun. To add to the discomfort, the heat protection sleeve decided to part ways with the cup. It's a small hiccup that, I believe, can be easily addressed. Despite this minor setback, I want to acknowledge the commendable speed and efficiency of the service. With a bit more attention to the finer details, Cafe Nero has the potential to elevate the customer experience even further.

You can eat pizza while looking at the view of the Thames River. The turnover rate is fast. I recommend Classic American.

Es la segunda vez que mi amigo y yo comemos aquí. La primera vez fue antes de que asistiéramos a una producción en el Globe a principios de este año, en esa ocasión, la comida, el servicio y el personal fueron encantadores, tanto que decidimos regresar cuando viniera la próxima vez en la zona. Volvimos ayer para almorzar, y no nos decepcionó. El nuevo menú es brillante, y una vez más el personal era simplemente magnífico.

Loved this place the first time I ate here. So after checking their website to make sure they were open (til 11pm) I went back. Time,money, and reveal crowded buses later they were NOT open. Really irritated and discouraged. Won’t be back.

I’ll start by saying the service was absolutely terrible. To the point where when we’d ordered three bottles of beer due to no draught that we had to wait 25 mins for it. We got our starters delivered to the table and then had to ask for our beers to be served to us after the fact. I expect better from a restaurant with Gordon’s name over the door… The food was really good. We had starters of the wings and meatballs. Both were really really tasty. We then shared the beef welly, again very delish. But not enough just in the slightest!! One little jug between two so we had to ask for more. (2 should definitely be standard). My mum however, had the sirloin steak. She did ask for it overcooked (medium, well) due to illness but omg it was completely grey and soooo chewy. Not a vibe. Service throughout. Took us ages to grab someone’s attention to get more just, again for more beers.Just overall a pretty negative experience for somewhere we thought would be top tier. I definitely wouldn’t come back! I’d go somewhere else in the area when there’s so much to choose from. I won’t lie, it’s my first visit to a Gordon restaurant after wanting to try his food for years, but this experience has kind of put me off!

Was honestly really surprised and appalled by the service. My friend and I waited at their entrance for almost ten minutes, but no one came to talk to us and take us to our seat, we didn't see a single server downstairs. We went upstairs and stood by the steps and were rudely told to move by a server. When I asked another server that my friend and I were waiting for a table, we were again rudely told that we would have to wait and that because we had come from the downstairs entrance we'd have to be served after everyone that came from the upstairs entrance. My friend and I left and ate somewhere else. Granted, there was not nearly enough staff present for the restaurant, they need to be more well staffed.

Poor food, kept warm in ovens and very expensive for what you get. Nice surroundings and nice people serving you. We had the lasagna, spaghetti Bolognese and coffee. Would I go back again - never, average at best.

The food is not authentic Sicilian and the prices are ridiculous! I dropped by for a bit of lunch and thought I would try this place, having been to Sicily a few years and really enjoying the cuisine. I ordered the Arancini, and received a rather bland, overpriced item. £6 for just one! I also ordered the canoli, which was again was nothing special at £7. What a waste of £13 for a lunch. Won't be recommending this place!

Ce restaurant aurait pu me faire me régaler, j’ai commander des pâtes carbonara sans sauce et avec un goût d’arachide... très étrange. J’ai également commandé des pâtes à la tomate ( il y avais bien une photo de pâte !!) mais j’ai reçu des gnocchi sans goût et fade. Dommage !!! Car ce restaurant a un certain potentiel

La entrega fue rápida, ¡gracias Deliveroo! ¡Eso es lo único positivo! Para eso es la 1 estrella. La comida fue más que decepcionante! Pedí un plato mixto para dos, que establecieron lo que está incluido: no había picaduras de langosta en mi orden y no había explicación de por qué. ¡Había un montón de sardinas que no me gustan y que nunca habría pedido, así que ya es la mitad del pedido en el contenedor! La porción de chips para dos apenas podía alimentar a un niño pequeño. Tomé la orina y conté 14 chips individuales. Wtf? ! ? Me puse en contacto con Fish Lab y Boxpark durante más de un mes y fui ignorado inmensamente, ¡así que evitaría este lugar a toda costa ya que no les importan sus clientes! Boxpark Croydon está empezando a ir cuesta abajo debido a cosas como esta: no asumen ninguna responsabilidad por los comerciantes promedio que les quedan y, a su vez, simplemente te ignoran. Me quedaré con Nandos al lado, gracias!

Its a cafe which does freshly made sandwiches and rolls .....there is sometimes a que at lunchtime but then sometimes things are worth queing for. The guys are accomodating ...and pleasant.

I asked "what Italian beers do you have?" Answer "none" Not even a bottle of Peroni. So an Italian craft beer pub with no Italian beer :) I think they need to rename the bar and stop advertising it as London's first Italian craft beer pub. They had some good beers, but nothing better than the other 5 generic craft ale bars there. Oh...;.and £7 a pint
