The best restaurants serving Italian food in Bournemouth South West

Every child growing up in Bournemouth came here, and I bet almost all of them like me come back whenever they can. I knew the Quattro Stagioni and Bolognaise we shared would be superb, and huge. They were.😂 It’s the Italian Hot Chocolate which came in at the 11th hour to steal the show. So glad all the movie pictures are still on the wall. Childhood memories intact 👌

vegan options jumbled into the menu - hard to decipher as same colour print as NEW - food okay but not amazing - service was lovely and atmosphere was okay on weekday not too loud but disappointing vegan options

Wasn't expecting much and it really didn't deliver even that. We only went because we had a red letter days voucher as a Christmas present, this was for a boat trip that was cancelled so had to pay £6 extra for a Prezzo experience. Don't bother, this place is expensive for what it is which is basically a low rent Italian restaurant that has ideas above it's station. Food was very bland not a lot of taste and once you told them you were on a voucher you were then treated like a second class citizen. Not the best experience and won't be returning

Asistimos al restaurante como parte de una celebración de cumpleaños. Sabiendo que teníamos una gran fiesta (14 pers) reservamos el lugar casi 6 semanas antes. A nuestra llegada nos informaron de que nuestra mesa no estaba lista y nos hicieron esperar fuera durante más de 15 minutos antes de sentarnos. Una vez más, debido al tamaño de la fiesta que habíamos enviado al restaurante nuestras opciones de menú para que puedan preparar nuestras elecciones. Esto de nuevo no fue tan bien como debería haber sido, dos de los participantes no recibieron su comida hasta que el resto del grupo casi había terminado su (al menos (15 minutos). Esto sucedió de nuevo durante los postres. Yo por mi parte no volveré a este restaurante en el corto plazo. La única parte positiva de la visita fue nuestro camarero que era tan servicial y no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros.

Plesently surprised with the food. Watched our pizzas being prepared & then cooked. Extremly good service & value for money for a change , good size & staff happy to give a doggy bag.. will use again for certain.

Fantastic service and food! We were a very large group of 19 and couldn’t recommend this pizza express enough for large party. Everything ordered came and was delicious. Waitress was Deliah, and was so helpful and friendly. Fantastic evening to celebrate my daughters birthday Thank you

Gran visita a Zizi en Bournemouth. Después de 5 horas en coche desde Merseyside en el día más caluroso del año necesitábamos un lugar para relajarse sabiendo que la comida iba a ser buena. Las pizzas eran preciosas. También muy amablemente el personal. 5 estrellas.

Lugar encantador, buena comida y un servidor fantástico llamado Laura, que no podría haber sido más animado y amable! Era brillante.

Very pleasantly surprised by our lunch at Vesuvio today! The waiting staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was good and quick to arrive. Reasonably priced really given the location and there isn’t much competition nearby! There was a lovely view and atmosphere in the side area which was dog friendly and perfect for our two families with 3 small kids. Would go back. The children’s menu undersold itself where the dish was ‘chicken nuggets and fries’ but actually proper chicken breast goujons with fries and also peas.

That was so disappointing , Not happy at all when I was Waiting more than 40 minutes to get my Pizza when the shop are not busy

Llegó a las 7. 15 . Solo pedí una principal inicialmente. El camarero no era muy amable. Casi no hablaba, no sonreía, no parecía conocer el menú. Miró por encima de mi hombro para deletrear espaguetis pomodorra. La comida llegó y era bueno, aunque no - una caña para preguntar. nosotros si todo estaba bien o si necesitábamos más bebidas. A las 8. 35 , (unos buenos 30 minutos después de haber terminado nuestra comida) llamé al camarero para pedirle que despejara la mesa y preguntarle si podíamos pedir postres. Dijo que la cocina ahora estaba cerrada, a pesar de que la mayoría de las mesas a nuestro alrededor todavía esperaban entrantes o red eléctrica. El sitio web dice restaurante nos abre hasta las 10 pm. No es bueno cuando se conecta a un hotel de 4 estrellas. Fácilmente podríamos habernos ido sin pagar y nadie - se habría dado cuenta. ¡El barman/maitre d pasó la mayor parte de su tiempo mirando su teléfono móvil!

It appears a lovely restaurant when you enter the venue and staff friendly but food was terrible. Pizza like cardboard and pasta dishes had no flavour, really disappointing meal. We picked as near our hotel but would not visit again.

Friendly staff but poor overpriced food , small portions.. £11 for a small burger and a small cup of chips and they seemed to try and make you get a move on and leave so they can get the table ready for the next customers .
