The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

Asistimos al restaurante como parte de una celebración de cumpleaños. Sabiendo que teníamos una gran fiesta (14 pers) reservamos el lugar casi 6 semanas antes. A nuestra llegada nos informaron de que nuestra mesa no estaba lista y nos hicieron esperar fuera durante más de 15 minutos antes de sentarnos. Una vez más, debido al tamaño de la fiesta que habíamos enviado al restaurante nuestras opciones de menú para que puedan preparar nuestras elecciones. Esto de nuevo no fue tan bien como debería haber sido, dos de los participantes no recibieron su comida hasta que el resto del grupo casi había terminado su (al menos (15 minutos). Esto sucedió de nuevo durante los postres. Yo por mi parte no volveré a este restaurante en el corto plazo. La única parte positiva de la visita fue nuestro camarero que era tan servicial y no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros.

We visited with some friends for the first time today. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We’ll be back.

Maria is the best. Excellent service and pizza. The best pizza I have had in England Perfect host Maria treated us so well and food was Delishous. Thank you Maria. Thank you Angelo Pizza best in England. 10/10

Plesently surprised with the food. Watched our pizzas being prepared & then cooked. Extremly good service & value for money for a change , good size & staff happy to give a doggy bag.. will use again for certain.

Ambiente accogliente, molto bravi tutti e proprietario molto gentile. Ho mangiato un’ottima pasta insieme a mia mamma, se dovessi mai ripassare da Chippenham Sì andrei di nuovo sicuramente!

Fancied trying this place for a while, we had an absolutely delicious starter of Pate, best I’ve tasted for a long time. Then we had ordered lasagne of which I can only describe as worse than a supermarket ready made! There was hardly any meat in it, too much liquid which made it a sloppy mess! I couldn’t finish it so I did complain and was given a reduction on mine! The owner was acting like a child barking at one of the staff and it was totally a very unpleasant experience! No ambiance at all. This is purely based on my opinion and experience on the evening. It was a special celebration which was ruined. I would have had a better experience in a chain restaurant! The waiters were pleasant and obviously the cooking is not down to them. Won’t be returning!

14 of us went as a group from the nearby Shipton Gorge. We’d preordered and sat at a large table. Service was good and the food was tasty enough but not outstanding. I’d ordered Lemon Sole which wasn’t properly trimmed so a bit disappointing. Most of our gang drank and ate heartily and the evening was a success as a social event.

Popped in here for lunch as it looked busy and cosy from the outside. We both had wild mushrooms - hen of the woods, king oyster etc. with garlic on toasted sourdough. Most delicious and a generous portion. Would definitely come back here.

Bang average dare I say below average. Nice wine Food just not that great One of the worst steaks I’ve eaten. Wife’s pasta no better than what I make at home We had a nice night because we shared a bottle of wine And we will most likely chuckle over our meal here for years to come. Booked for my wife’s birthday and once again proved that I should not be allowed to book meals out Great location but if I were you I would go elsewhere Not worth the 20£ cancellation fee they seem entitled to add Staff however we’re lovely

Visited Bosco for a pre theatre meal. Initial impression was good, we ordered drinks, which came relatively promptly. We ordered starters and mains. The arancini starter was well made and tasty, however the two calamari starters were underwhelming, they were flabby and rubbery, some were hardly coated in breadcrumbs, so that was disappointing and my wife left half of hers. The mains, two pizzas and the sliced steak meal on the whole were fine, however nothing special, hence I can only give it a score of 3. Overall an underwhelming experience, not sure we will return.

Fantastic service and food! We were a very large group of 19 and couldn’t recommend this pizza express enough for large party. Everything ordered came and was delicious. Waitress was Deliah, and was so helpful and friendly. Fantastic evening to celebrate my daughters birthday Thank you

Very disappointing Shakshuka, normally a Shakshuka is a vibrant spicy red and exciting dish of tomatoes, peppers, eggs, spinach, different toppings are added to each version, I had to ask for a spoon as it was more of a brown soup which I couldn’t eat with a knife and fork. All the other items I’ve had from the menu have been lovely, I didn’t complain at the time as I was with my friend. I was also charged a service fee on top, to which I was told ‘it saved people scrabbling around looking for loose change’ hearing such a dire comment is not what you expect, as after all, a tip is given for the enjoyment of food, service and the ambience of a place which unfortunately was ruined by the continuous noise of the blender making smoothies/milkshakes which I suppose couldn’t be helped on such a hot day.

Rosti is a fantastic cafe with a lovely and warm atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is consistently great. I would highly recommend Rosti to anyone looking for great service and tasty food!

El personal estaba por cerrar pero eran más que dispuesto a permanecer abierto y luego nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. las porciones buen tamaño y una excelente relación calidad-precio
