The best restaurants serving Italian food in Tettenhall Wightwick Wolverhampton West Midlands

Having been to Fiume many many times since it opened this visit was a little disappointing if I’m honest. Hopefully it was just because everyone was tired after Xmas and our visit isn’t representative of how it is now. Firstly it was really dark in there. The little table lamps (I think ours was low on battery) don’t really cut it. Secondly it was chilly in there. The broken radiator behind our table wasn’t on (perhaps because it was damaged). Thirdly the little touches that used to make Fiume stand out are gone. No one brought black pepper or Parmesan to the table that was a nice touch. I had to go and find black pepper in a plastic pepper mill for myself. There are bags of dried pasta and pizza boxes visible from the dining room which doesn’t look great. The food was fine. My crepe starter was served incredibly quickly but was lukewarm warm rather than hot. My pasta dish was lovely. I will try again in the hope that this was a one off and people were just battle weary from the Xmas rush.

La comida aquí es siempre fresca, grandes porciones y lo más importante auténtica comida cocinada italiana. Está en un entorno encantador, y el personal me parece muy servicial, profesional y amable. Para que mis amigos italianos digan que comerán allí, entonces dicen mucho. Volveré de nuevo en 2 semanas para mi excursión regular a uno de mis lugares de comida más favoritos.
