The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We ate here last night after reading great reviews about Pizza Union. Honestly, we loved it. It’s exceptionally good value for London and the quality of the food wasn’t compromised at all. We had 3 large beers, olives and 3 pizzas for £44. It was delicious and we wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again.

Visited my local Ponte Nuovo for my 50th in 2014 and this year for my 60th. Food and service was as fantastic this year and every time I have visited. I invited 15 family members and we has a room to ourselves which was intimate. As I work near, I visit frequently. I would recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful traditional sardinian food. Varied menu with many sardinian favourites that you will not find anywhere else in york. Great friendly service in a relaxed environment

Used to live locally and have always had a positive experience in this place. Came most recently for a late lunch, easy vibe. Lovely pizza for a great price - my secret is I have a margherita and add nduja to it!

Amazing atmosphere the owner really goes above and beyond I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here . Really friendly service and food was outstanding . The best lobster I’ve ever had and they even gave me extra !!! Cheap aswell really recommend !

First red flag should have been the fact we were the only table from 7pm on a Friday night. Ordered arranchini to start - worst I’ve ever had. Barely any risotto rice inside, very hard on the outside and small portion size. Main of monkfish from the specials menu was nice, however so overpriced and would not have ordered it had I clocked the price. Again, Tiramisu for dessert - worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure how you can mess up tiramisu but they have managed it, Borderline watery, no thickness to the mascarpone cream, did not finish it. This was one of the most expensive meals I have had out, and sadly the standard was sub par. So many great Italians out there, more keenly priced. Once we paid and left, within 5 minutes the doors were shut, lights out. Clearly the only table they were expecting, Note the Italian next door was very busy and this was still the case once we left at 9pm - as it should be on a Friday evening. Personally I would avoid.

Wonderful restaurant and wonderful owner. Tiziano took my order himself and cook it fresh. Make sure to always go for traditional italian if you order carbonara! And don't forget to try their Tiramisu it's the best one I've tried ever. The place is also very cozy and comfortable

Amazing evening with a range of new dishes added to the menu making it even more fabulous. The Dam Biryani, was a new addition to the menu, spectacular with the right amount of spice. Also, Gajar Halwa with icecream, a new addition, the best in the UK. Shout out to the team at MyLahore blackburn always making the evening 💯 % better. The ambience was great. Number one restaurant! MyLahore all the way!!!

A lovely evening booked for my 60th with many friends and family. The team were amazing, service was fab. Food was fantastic huge portions think we all took food home with us. Even the chef came to ask if everything was okay with the food, don’t get that everywhere. Couldn’t have chosen any where better to go. Thank you so much Nick and your amazing team. Some clever creative cooking in this tiny restaurant . A really great main menu where I could have picked almost everything We popped in for lunch . Smaller menu but great flavours . Tom yum seafood risotto was madly good and a Ventoux as they house red Spot on

A pleasant warm welcome as we arrived. The menu is very chic and our meal was absolutely delicious, attention to detail with the starter, main meals & deserts were all outstanding! Beautifully served by Martha & Meg, very attentative with an extremely busy restaurant, thank you. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nice to see a well co-ordinated team! As we were leaving, we were given a little gift, a packet of wildflower seeds by Rose, from Pranzo's, such a lovely, thoughtful gesture! My mum is 84 and we've visited Italy, Venice on many occasions - Pranzo's Restaurant, especially their freshly made cuisine, would certainly not be out of place! Well Done, Excellent all round! 💖
