The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Great time and amazing food! Unfortunately the service lacked the rosset of the food. This could get a good rosset but unfortunately the service and the vibe lacked this.

Food tastes good and the atmosphere was nice. A small group of us went early evening and enjoyed our visit. 1 thing to improve on. Staff need more comprehensive menu training as we had to translate some menu items into English as we got blank looks when using the menu names for the dishes.

We went for my 40th birthday. There were 8 adults and 4 children. The service was excellent especially at such a nice restaurant we could worry how it would be with the young children. The food was exceptional, and they forgot one order but immediately gave us this on the house and we had plenty of sides to eat in the meantime. The surroundings and decor of the restaurant is spectacular and the way they cook the sea bass with the flames in front of the table is excellent to watch. Will be back again

The bar / lounge area was cosy with a roaring fire. What a welcome in such an icy night. I had a great cocktail then we moved into the main dining area. We shared the homemade chicken liver paté which was delicious. Then we had various dishes. Mussels in garlic. Rocket and parmesan side ( with huge amounts of lovely cheese ) a blue cheese and tomato garlic bread , smoked salmon bruschetta and meatballs. We had the best Frascati we've ever had and a lovely Algoianico red. Alessandro really took care of us. Many restaurants are let down by mediocre wine lists. Not here. Yes it's expensive but then anything top notch is.

Absolutely delicious food delivered fast and hot with amazing staff. I don’t normally stay for deserts but could not resist. Will definitely be back soon

I had a great time, the staff was kind and fast. The location is convenient for the bus or for those arriving on foot. I recommend it!

Enjoyable meal at Limoncello. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and prices fair. Our party sampled rockfish, pasta and lamb and all three dished were well prepared and presented

3rd visit... and again outstanding service and quality of food.... atmosphere good.... looked after us again ...... fillet steak and deep fried camembert to start. lovely ... see you again

La mejor pizza de Brighton. La pasta de trufa también es sensacional, la tuvimos sin la salchicha para hacerla vegetariana. El restaurante es pequeño y acogedor con un gran ambiente.

Went for a friends 30th birthday meal. The ciabatta balls weren't that's great if I'm honest. Don't agree with the enforced service fee neither.

I thought I would visit Milan for a steak but I was bitterly disappointed, I asked for medium to well done and it was pink, I pointed this out to a member of staff and she said it was because of the thickness of the stake under nonsense, they deducted the £4 sauce and that was it we as a family have been a big supporter of this restaurant but not now.

Great little itialian restaurant, beautiful food, and fantastic friendly service. I had a lasagna dish which was phenomenal.

Firstly, I have Italian family so I am pretty clued up in the cuisine. I am always honest for the benefit of the business not just to complain. Service - Mostly good. However, maybe at least poor the first drink from a bottle of wine instead of just putting it at the end of the table and walking off. No tip based on that. Food - Ragu had no depth of flavour, therefore, it tasted a little watery. Reduce down your sauce or add more seasoning.
