The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

No cream for coffee. No fruit for granola. No brown bread for toast. Someone went to the shop for supplies which was admirable but it meant that our coffee was cold by the time we got our breakfast.

Ordinando tramite take away. Ho provato questa pasticceria. La svogliatina detta coda di aragosta., molto buona e croccante. Il tiramisù classico.. buono ma non mi ha lasciato senza parole. Ma prodotto di ottima produzione. Il tiramisù al pistacchio… buono e particolare.

My go to restaurant in Cheltenham for breakfast or lunch for business or with family and friends. This is what an Italian restaurant should feel like. Warm, welcoming, amazing (family) feel restaurant. Salv and all of his team make you feel welcome, always greeted with a smile and you leave with a belly full of amazing food. Never been disappointed with anything… the foodgasm bell chimes on!

Cibo di alta qualità, originale italiano. Tutto ottimo, torneremo presto, il cuoco è del sud Italia ed è bravissimo, abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. Spettacolare

I have received 2 spicy pizza instead of 2 normal ones , I have call the shop and the guy at the phone was very rude saying that it can’t be spicy, I have took my time and give them the pizza back, this shop was my favourite one , now is the biggest disappointment, I will never order again from them and non of my friends .

Write this Restaurant one of the best in Congelton super del Dept super fresh cook meals excellent stuff happy very helpful and the food is just above excellent brilliant so you won’t be disappointed it’s one of the best in Congelton so give it to go good luck to all the team who are on the ball every day every minute and the chefs are exceptional and the owners extremely experienced foodies. Well I have found better food than what I’ve seen and I trust you when you when you go.

Can not fault this restaurant. Food is amazing!! Great portion sizes, great flavour and the chef was really lovely and happy to cook whatever you wanted (even if not on the menu.) Everyone I went with agreed that it is possibly the best Italian they have had!! The chef and the women serving was lovey, very personal and friendly making the whole experience lovely! Will definitely recommend and be back

We’ve been here before and couldn’t wait to get back for the Christmas menu. This place never disappoints! So much choice on the menu it was hard to choose. We opted for the mackerel pate and meatballs to start. Such amazing food. Everything was homemade and the flavours were divine. We then had the veggie chilli and Christmas melt for main. Eventually finished off with the ginger affogato. What a lovely afternoon we’ve had. Staff were lovely as always and even chef came out and made a fuss of our babies! Five stars all the way. Can’t wait to return!

We tried the restaurant for lunch and were not disappointed. The food was good and the staff was very nice and friendly. Great coffee and free limoncello.

I loved this place, always visited when we stayed at the Cresta Court airport hotel down the road. Always a friendly welcome, fabulous food, incredible cocktails. We were so sad to turn up and find it closed. I've recommended this to lots of my friends. I hope it will re-open one day as it was really missed on our last visit

Lovely little Italian in the city - nice atmosphere, good service and excellent menu . Food is light and sauces skilfully made : not heavy and very well flavoured . Desserts were also excellent- the cheesecake and the profiteroles get a special mention. All round a great experience for a small family meal and will definitely return .

This place is absolutely worth trying! The service was wonderful and the food was pretty good. We loved the bread, the venison and the pistachio ice cream. The seafood linguini wasn’t my favourite but that’s ok! It’s a personal taste thing, I believe that my palette is more tuned to acid and stronger tastes and this was more of a rich subtle flavour, which some people like. The wine was excellent too, and to reiterate the staff were wonderful. I think absolutely worth checking out if you fancy a decent meal at a nice local place.

We’re regular lunchtime visitors. All the food is excellent and the baked potatoes are the best I’ve ever had. Delicious fillings and skin lovely and crispy. The wraps are superb as well and very substantial. The dishes come with a lovely side salad, sweet chilli dip and coleslaw. Night time menu is also excellent and highly recommend the meatballs. Our boys love the pizzas. BYOB is a bonus as well. Great service, great food and great staff. Can’t recommend highly enough.
