The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

A fabulous experience. Dining on my own I sat at the bar and took in the atmosphere, fantastic service and teamwork going on to give a wonderful experience to each guest. Food delicious, atmosphere fantastic and service amazing.

Booked for a Saturday lunchtime and had a great time. Food was beautiful and plenty of it. Good choice of wine available. Reasonable prices too. Will visit again soon.

We stumbled across Da Vinci Mediterranean restaurant by accident and thought we'd try it for lunch. Absolutely delicious...smoked salmon bruschetta, seafood spaghetti and mushroom risotto, with a bottle of prosecco. Great portions and very tasty. Friendly staff who didn't rush us. Will definitely go back.

Do not attend if you have allergies. The party I was with have coeliacs and ensured when ordering this was specified. We were then served the incorrect pizza that had gluten in it - and pizza pilgrims had the cheek to say “you should have checked it was gluten free”. Upon complaining, this has not been taken seriously and I am really disappointed in their handling of this. Therefore I’d really advise anyone with allergies or coeliacs to reconsider eating here for peace of mind. It’s a real shame.

Very good and friendly service and delicious icecream. Good seating indoor and plenty of pay and display parking available around.

Excellent pizza in an authentic and cozy atmosphere. This is the real deal if you're looking for authentic and good tasting pizza. A really small and authentic restaurant, with a passionate and friendly owner. They have pasta dishes as well. I tried the Picante pizza and it was excellent. From a personal point of view it could have a bit more nduja,but others might find it more than enough. Even had a good discussion with the manager about preferences concerning the crust, as I am quite the pizza nerd myself. Fairly priced as well, and charming surroundings, so all in all this is a highly recommended visit if in London.

This is a great restaurant tucked away on Wendron Street (best booking) as is open 6.30pm to 8.30pm. My wife, 12 year old son and I went again this summer. The waitress is very friendly, will go through the menu and recommend dishes and the atmosphere is authentic. The menu is full of original dishes - pastas, pizzas, seafood and chicken etc. Would thoroughly recommend Giuseppes - the food is delicious and you dont wait long.

DO NOT BOOK WITH LA BELLE. They sent out a notice to all bookings at the end of May that they were shutting down operations and that the website would be completely unavailable as of June 15th. We had our elopement dinner booked with a chef through them that we were then scrambling to find an alternative for. In the meantime, we requested a refund. After a nightmare of going back and forth over a dozen times with them, with no responses or vague responses with no follow through, I was finally able to get the refund processed- but they kept their booking fee. They decided to send out an email on June 8th- 3 days after they have disabled their website for users to manage their bookings- that they had decided they could maintain operations. But by that point, we’d already managed to book the same chef through another platform. I’ve now requested them to refund the booking fee multiple times, but they claimed they could still meet the booking so they didn’t have to, and I’ve already told them that’s not possible since that chef isn’t available to them on that night since we booked him elsewhere. They are no longer responding to any messages I’ve sent requesting the remaining balance. This business practice is completely unacceptable and untrustworthy. Do not risk your event with this shady business.

This pace is a tourist rip off. I ordered the sourdough carcollled bread and it was tasteless. The rigatonni to follow was in a watery tomato sauce and nothing special. As a decentant of Italians from Napoli I would say best avoid and seek out a genuine Italian eatery

I've been here several times. The food is amazing and the place is cozy and Luigi, the manager, is a lovely italian man. Totally recommend

Excellent evening with us sharing a meat and seafood platter for starters, which was just fantastic. . The steaks were cooked to order and melt in the mouth. The seafood risotto, which I asked for, Al dente...was perfect. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again Antonio (chef/owner) was very friendly and accommodating... lovely evening all around. 5*****
