The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

El almuerzo del domingo de hoy fue excelente. Después de intentar reservar para la 1 pm, nos dicen que estaba completamente reservado hasta las 3 . Cuando llegamos allí el restaurante estaba muy ocupado, la espera valió la pena. Mi marido tenía carne asada mientras yo tenía panza de cerdo, ambos eran muy buenos y de gran valor. No es sorprendente que esté tan ocupado, la calidad era excelente, y el personal muy amable. Comemos aquí a menudo para una cena, pero sin duda volveremos para el almuerzo del domingo

Not reviewed Buonissimo for a while, but we visit regularly, coffee is exceptional, the food is always excellent, whether it be a main meal or a simple sandwich, the Amalfi open sandwich, is just delicious, & in all honesty, we have tried nearly everything, & it is all first class. The deli counter also offers some mouth watering products. The staff are polite & helpful, & you can guarantee a warm welcome.

Popped in for breakfast as wanted to put money in to local business rather than McD’s etc and the board outside stated 2 breakfasts and 2 teas £12 which seemed reasonable. The breakfast was well sized however the sausage was bland as was the grilled tomato. Bacon and beans were good. The pot of tea wasn’t the best. At no point did anybody pop over and ask us if we were enjoying our meal or if everything was ok. The decor was tired with marks on the walls and the door was filthy. We were in early and the place was empty so wasn’t as though the grime had built up in the day and would have took a minute to wipe it down with a damp cloth at least. Also the table cloth was stained. When went to pay it was £15.88 and not the £12 as advertised outside but couldn’t be bothered challenging as it was the missus’s birthday. Won’t be going there again as just not good enough.

Tomé un capuchino helado y mi esposa tomó un té helado - jazmín creo que dijo que era muy agradable. Mi café era excelente, muy sabroso y con poca leche, así que era lo suficientemente fuerte. Era particularmente bueno para un café helado.

First time I've ever been to this charming little park...on a beautiful sunny morning I spotted this cafe & thought fabulous I'll have a coffee. As I entered I was putting my mask on and one of the strings broke the mask was still covering my face as I was holding it. To my SHOCK I look up & this man behind the counter (the owner I think) which was at least 2 metres away wearing a mask himself starts to SHOUT AT ME!! The way in which this man spoke to me was actually shocking I've been reading some of the other reviews an this seems to be a reoccurring theme. In this time when so many businesses are struggling we as consumers have a choice were we spend our money and many of us choose to try and support local businesses...this one WONT get my support..this man is a RUDE & is going the right way about ruining his own business

Quick and friendly service. Delicious pizzas. Great local place for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Will be going back again.

Gorgeous pizza and sides! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is our 3rd visit and there will definitely be many more to come.

Fuimos varias veces durante los meses de agosto y septiembre. El menú no era largo, pero todo estaba recién hecho, desde cero. Cuando fuimos temprano, el servicio fue bastante rápido, pero más tarde se llenó (es un lugar pequeño) y ¡el servicio nos llevó más de una hora! Por suerte, queríamos hablar. Tuve la berenjena / berenjena parmigiana más de una vez, estaba delicioso. El camarero italiano / de Sri Lanka fue desternillante. (y muy lindo)

Increíble pasta en el mercado municipal. Muy rápido y definitivamente recién hecho. Muy lleno de porción grande y vale la pena el viaje. ¡Lo tuve dos veces!

Recuerda este lugar (hace unos años) como buen lugar para un tiempo tranquilo conmigo con café de buena calidad pero ya no (enero 2025 ) Latte sabe a gota de café diluido en cubo de leche y ruido... . omg. Honestamente, más tranquilo está en la calle. Y el personal no ayuda en esto arrastrando jaulas pesadas y traqueteantes a través de la puerta de entrada de la cafetería y el piso, golpeando y dejando caer cosas detrás de la barra. Evita como una plaga. Un espacio restaurado bastante fresco eliminó mis puntos favoritos en la ventana junto a las neveras de exhibición de alimentos y ahora tienes allí estantes estilo andamio con mercancía que nadie compra. Desperdicio masivo de espacio y quién cubre la vista en la plaza y los árboles con algo así? Esta plaza es hermosa durante los meses de primavera / verano. Desventajas principales - super ruidoso, sin posibilidad de reunir sus pensamientos y extremadamente lleno - la gente está sentada allí como gallinas en una percha. La calidad del café disminuyó masivamente, como los propietarios que ahorran en cantidades de café que obtiene. No recomiendo este lugar.

Absolutely amazing! Best pizza we’ve had in a long time. Popped in on the off chance of a table, and the lovely waitress went out of her way to accommodate us. Absolute bargain for the quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!

He estado aquí un par de veces antes de mi visita más reciente, esto fue de lejos el más memorable. Tenía unos calamares frescos preciosos para empezar, mi amigo tiene las mejillas de cerdos estofados, ambos estaban deliciosos. Para el principal tuve pulpo cornish bebé guisado en vino tinto con garbanzos, estaba de nuevo delicioso, terroso, el pulpo todavía tenía un poco de bocado. Mi amigo tenía el poussin, que también era muy bueno. El único plato corriente era el pastel de almendra y ricota (bastante aburrido) , que se salvó con una mermelada de naranja fresca, y un poco de helado de pistacho que estaba fenomenal. Ambos tuvimos cerveza sin alcohol (muy agradable). El servicio fue maravilloso, el personal me cantó feliz cumpleaños!

Highly recommend! Not kidding, the best Italian restaurant I ever tried. The food is proper Italian food! The staff is so friendly, BIG portions of food. Will go back for sure!

No te molestes en pedir estas cabras si es después de las 5 pm. Me dejaron ordenar y pagar y luego a las 545 pm simplemente canceló el pedido sin explicación. Puede que sean la mejor pasta, pero si estás demasiado ocupado, ¡NO aceptes el pedido!
