The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Ordered a takeaway, was a bit disappointed. Took over an hour and a half. Chips were barely cooked. Asked for a ham and cheese mini calzone which was burnt and had sausage meat instead of ham even though I rang and asked for ham instead.

We had a family night and wanted some quality food everyone could enjoy. We'd realised there had been some additional items added to the menu since we last ordered from here and wanted to give it a try. We pre ordered our food as we know how sought after the pizzas are from this place. They were delivered on time and the quality was absolutely unreal. The extended family were impressed and I must say I'm a fan of the new devil's honey pizza 🍕. Highly recommend!

By far the best pizza I've had from any independent pizzeria. Great prices, incredibly friendly staff.

The food is superb! We were kindly gifted some Bacon and Brie fries with our order that had been made accidentally and they were amazing, will definitely be adding them to our order in future! Staff are really friendly, would definitely recommend Adoro!

Marcelo is an excellent host and we all loved his new place in St Albans Street. Small but lovely atmosphere. Fantastic tapas and lovely wine. We should certainly visit more often.

Hemos tenido 2 experiencias increíbles en este restaurante. Una vez con la familia y la otra para un cumpleaños número 29, donde fueron más allá con una excelente comida y un excelente alojamiento. No se puede olvidar la experiencia y esperamos volver pronto.

Live in Holt but never visited this establishment before. Very welcoming, delicious coffee and dog friendly with a dog biscuit for each of our 3 dogs. Will definitely be returning.

We bought the 3 course meal for 2 with wine. It was excellent quality and good value for money. There is an excellent selection of Italian foods for purchase, some making excellent gifts. We will definitely visit again!

We had recently ordered a birthday cake for me so we went for a coffee and small cakes. Highly recommended for the cakes and superb coffee.

I was recently on a date in Bury having a few drinks and we decided to get something to eat. Before I continue let me explain that this was a first date and I couldn't believe my luck, this girl was incredible, unbelievably gorgeous, funny, easy to talk to the whole package and then some. More amazingly she still seemed happy to be out on a date with me. I was punching harder than Rocky when he fought the Russian. Way out of my depth and desperate for things to go well. I don't know Bury all that well but had recently done some work there for an Italian gentleman who took me for an authentic Italian pizza after work one evening. It was the best pizza I've had in my life no contest so seemed a no brainer to go for a pizza. When we arrived at the restaurant I had previously been to it was closed. I was devastated and didn't have a clue where else to suggest. We walked a little further up the road and spotted Meliá. After having a drink at the bar Michael found us a table and I soon discovered the restaurant we was in was the same restaurant I had been to before only in a new premises. Everything about the night was perfect, the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere and most of all the company. It was certainly a night I'll remember with a smile for a long time. Thanks to Michael and all the staff at Meliá for making me look good. Fingers crossed we'll be back sometime. 😉

He estado en 89 redes sociales un par de veces. Anoche pasé con mi gf y la vibra era demasiado difícil de ignorar. Piano y saxo. Sentado afuera. Terminé teniendo una botella y unos platos de pasta FANTÁSTICOS. La pasta sabía como si fuera hecha en casa por la abuela italiana del jefe. El entusiasmo al explorar la carta de vinos, establecimiento fenomenal. Gran lugar, gran gente. ¡No lo dudes!
