Ordered food was rather excited for it, missing item rang to say about it and the lady on the phone was down right rude shouting that she put the missing item in the bag. The food itself was inedible tempura chicken battered falling off the chicken, yakisoba covered in what seemed like Siracha sauce. Yes I did receive the missing item in the end however the coating on the chicken again was none existent, £50 wasted on food that had to be binned and re ordered from somewhere else. Based I’d just eat it seems that the restaurant can’t take criticism and comes back with a cheeky comment.

Best sushi ever!!! Ramen was okish, some missing ingredients and a bit disappointed that the egg wasn't stained. Service was very slow when taking the order and such. To the point that I don't know how they survive in this economy with such a limited number of seats. Food came fast though.

One of the most authentic Japanese restaurants without being overpriced. The portions are huge, and the food is really tasty. There are 4 really big pieces of meats come in Kimchi ramen, so 2 people can easily share a portion, I would say. The only thing is that they charged the egg on ramen, which was kinda absurd as I know the ramen always comes with a boiled egg on top. Anyways, it doesn't change the whole experience even a bit since the service and ambience were great. Also, they were open on 1st January although it said on Google that they were closed, so nice to call and check before going.

The food was delivered to my home, it was 20 mins early which was great but the presentation and quality of the food was completely abysmal, the prawn chow mein I ordered had no vegetables at all, just greasy noodles and tasteless prawns. As you can see in the photo the chips were dark brown, completely over cooked but soggy from the amount of grease on them, I paid £18 for something only fit for the bin. Absolutely disgusting food I would never order from here again

Don't know if this is due to new management but in its current state, the bottom floor restaurant should be avoided. Been to the Teppanyaki before and everyone loves it but this time we went to the Chinese and it was pretty awful in every way imaginable. Insanely long waiting times for food, only one woman working the tills, clearing and serving tables (she was doing her best and it's not her fault). The food was nothing better than an average Chinese takeaway but was from their Christmas set menu which cost over £30 per person. This price plus the service charge on top is ludicrous considering the totally mid food and nonexistent service. We were told this was the only menu available downstairs and so had no choice but to order from it, although later into our meal a couple sat beside us seemingly with a full menu to choose from, don't know what that was about. It's a shame that all the attention and effort seems to be put in at the teppanyaki section, while downstairs is left as an afterthought where you essentially sit in the reception area with delivery drivers coming in and out to collect orders while listening to the people upstairs laughing and having a good time. Felt like I was locked on the bottom deck of the Titanic. Hopefully they sort this out, but avoid for now.

Food was okay, nowhere near as good as Victoria Square… got the chicken ramen and the chicken was dry and no seasoning alongside the bowel there was 0 flavour. Staff was constantly walking past us when we were planning to order a dessert, we decided to ask for the bill instead as the wait was ridiculous. And then when we asked for the bill they then forgot about us again. Ended up having to go up and remind them I wanted to pay. Lovely staff just 0 motivation in my opinion.

We visited at lunchtime and the place was very quiet, but the staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered two bento boxes - one katsu chicken and one salmon. First came some very decent miso soup, and the followed the very good looking bento boxes. I had the chicken and it was really good, much better than expected. I tried some of the salmon and it too was delicious. If we lived closer we’d defo be back. Turned out to be very good value for money too.

Good food service is good. The atmosphere is suitable and there are plenty of options. We're with our family today and it's very harassing. Holder! Bv

Excellent food and service! We visited at the weekend while we were in Carrickfergus visiting with family. We had one of the nicest meals we’ve had in a long time. The food was brilliantly cooked, gorgeous flavour and large portions, the young guy who served us was such a sweet guy with nothing too much trouble. We are still saying it was the best meal of the trip!
