Fabulous restaurant serving Middle Eastern cuisine with flair! Ate here three times over the course of a long weekend and the food was consistently amazing. Fresh ingredients and imaginative menu. Not extensive but what they do they do really well. Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere. Loved the grilled chicken, the aubergine salad and the sea bream. My husband’s flat iron steak was one of the best meals he’s ever eaten. Highly recommended.

Matt was great, very attentive and friendly. The food was 10/10. Would defo recommend a visit. Would recommend the pork belly in particular. Thankyou Matt!

looks nothing like how it does online. its completely remodelled with a new menu and an entirely different name called “scottys tapas”. before you go here just keep in mind that whatever menu you see online will be different in person. i can say however that the waiter that approached us was informative and friendly.

Excellent food, service and place.

We had a lovely evening at Tapas Kitchen. We started with the bread and aioli - supreme! The homemade bread is perfect and the aioli a lovely accompaniment. Malcolm chose the duck and seabass and says they were both excellent. We shared a Valencia style rice. I had the prawns and mussels, I thoroughly enjoyed both, especially the prawns. We were too full to entertain a dessert. Thank you all at Tapas Kitchen, we are so lucky to have you as a local restaurant

100/10 This place is bonkers good! Service is exceptional, the food is delish (Cornbread Fritter things are ridiculously good!), atmosphere is lush, and its super family friendly. One of my fav spots in Hove full stop!

Booked an evening meal here with three of my friends, we meet up occasionally for food and drinks. We work locally and picked Rustic Table as fancied tapas. We were all really impressed. The restaurant is small and friendly, the staff are lovely - the lady who served us even showed us a bit of sign language she knew (one of my friends with us is Deaf and uses BSL to communicate). Small gesture but welcomed. The food was amazing, we ordered 3 bowls each which was just right. The octopus and lamb kofta…I’m still thinking about those now! Delicious. We will booking with you again when we meet up in Spring. Maybe this time we will get the train so we can sample the cocktails!
