The best restaurants serving Mexican food in Scotland

Killer authentic Mexican food. We’ve lived here in the UK for over 5 years and have been looking for exactly this. The pibil & suadero were outstanding.

Mezcal is fantastic! We have eaten here a few times now, and we haven't had a bad dish yet! The food comes quickly, and the portions size is perfect. I really do feel the dishes have a perfect balance of flavours. No dish (so far) has had any one over powering flavour, which is exactly what you want from.any dish. The staff are lovely, very friendly and on point, the restaurant is comfortable, clean and inviting. Hats off to them, and the chef's the place is great, worth every penny!

Been here so many times. Quick friendly service and their Burritos/quesadillas/burgers are all so tasty prepared with fresh quality ingredients and generous portion sizes. So convenient for a quick Lunch or dinner that keeps you full and satisfied.

Delivered the completely wrong order...

I love this place. Specifically the Californian burrito, it might be the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten. Wow. No joke. You have to get the Californian burrito. The chips just make all the difference adding a lovely texture to burritos, which I often find too soft and mushy. The Californian burritos chips add the most satisfying texture and flavour to the burrito, so much so that I’m genuinely addicted to eating them. I’ve never even written a google review before but the I love the California burrito so much I had to. It’s so good it makes me want to write romantic poems about it. The only thing that annoys me is that it’s never on the discounts. The customer service is also great. I can’t recommend the Californian burrito anymore highly, and the time I will be spending away from Edinburgh over Christmas will make me miss my California burrito dearly 😢

Tasteless burritos! tried both chicken & beef and there was no flavour at all just bland food!

We have really enjoyed a couple of meals here so couldn't wait to get back last Saturday while up visiting from Newcastle. Looked up times on Facebook and Google and walked to the restaurant only to find it locked up with the lights off. Really disappointed

One of the worst burritos i have ever had. Bone dry. I ordered a great chicken burrito for lunch. Not cheap either at £7.75! Would not order again, can get better burritos elsewhere.

Burrito now considerably smaller and no more than a snack - a massive shame as definitely one of the best burritos in Edinburgh before!

Closed at 5pm, Monday 9 Oct. Website said it was open.

The quesadillas are absolutely divine! The staff are fantastic at what they do, amazing service and they’re super friendly, would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

Un lugar encantador, pero opciones limitadas en el menú. Disfrutamos de unos entrantes y un plato de queso compartido. Lamentablemente el personal no era desagradable, no de una manera grosera, simplemente no se comprometía o se molestó. Perdieron al menos 8 invitados al no intentar que se sentaran o hablaran a través del menú. Una verdadera pena ya que la comida era sabrosa y ofrecía una buena relación calidad-precio. El baño de abajo se comparte con el restaurante de al lado, lo que significa que algunas personas, de al lado, se confundieron con qué lugar había. Bastante divertido de ver. En mi opinión, el restaurante podría haber estado más lleno si el personal hubiera interactuado con la gente que entra. Una verdadera pena ya que el servicio era bueno una vez que el personal hizo un esfuerzo.

Booked for a birthday party, had to confirm the booking and got there and it was shut! No explanation, no answering emails or messages, nothing!

Our servicer Vicky was great , just the food was a let down it took an hour and 15mins to receive our mains and when it did arrive it was disappointing , the chicken was cold the garlic bread felt like it had been sitting for some time as the cheese was crusty
