Booked two nights for dinner bed and breakfast. Food excellent choice, quality and great service from young team. Room comfy and spacious Ideal location for Newark Showground. Will visit again

A lot of pastry on Cornish pasty, heard a few swear words from behind in an accent, but I guess it was a bit busy. I was a little concerned, the front team were good. Coffee was nice a bit upset having to pay for a small sachet of brown sauce. I went to the toilet the corner was mucky behind the tap.

Love it here - they always cram as much in as possible! Great value. ...and the pork and stuffing sandwich, Christ!

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5 stars) - Cake, Lies, and Business Spies” Walked in for cake, walked out with a betrayal so big it should come with its own Netflix series. I came here as a paying customer with my family, thinking I was supporting a local business. What did I get in return? These sugar-coated con artists trying to get their hands on my shop lease. I told them, No, not for sale,” like any sane person would. So what do they do? They slither off to my landlord behind my back, trying to push me out like yesterday’s stale pastries. And it gets better! They offered me money for all the furnishings I left behind—including a brand-new radiator system, custom storage cubbies I had made, and a brand-new wooden floor I installed. The deal? They were supposed to pay me. The reality? I got NOTHING. Not a penny. Zilch. Nada. Meanwhile, they got to keep everything I spent over £20,000 on. Now let’s talk about the cakes: • So sweet, I could feel my teeth writing their resignation letters. • So overpriced, I had to check if I was actually buying shares in the bakery. • So “meh,” I wouldn’t even trade them for the money they owe me. Would I recommend this place? Only if you enjoy overpriced sugar with a side of deception. Otherwise, take your money—and your trust—somewhere else. P.S. If they tell you they’ll pay you for something, get it in writing. Preferably in blood.

This is my favourite bar in Stamford. Lovely atmosphere, really cosy and great staff. The cocktails are amazing and reasonably priced. On Weds, Thurs and Fri they have special offers on some cocktails - £6 each, which is crazily cheap for the quality of the drinks. Also a great selection of bottled beers.

I looked at the reviews for munch before going to the cafe so I entered with high expectations and was met with an unpleasant atmosphere upon arrival then ordered our food none the less and the bill came to £15 for just one sandwich and wrap and 2 pepsi max the portions where extremely small for the price and the bacon and sausage where as if they had been sat under a heat lamp for several hours definitely would not recommend.

A really lovely place! Everything about it. The service, the food, the atmosphere. I went today with my 6 month son and 2 friends (who also bathe had babies in pushchairs) three adults, three pushchairs takes up a lot of room but as soon as we entered we was greeted by a lovely staff member who couldn’t of been more helpful. She offered to move tables and chairs in order to get us in. Once we were in she did everything she could to insure we had enough room and was comfortable. Upon ordering food nothing was too much trouble, everything was made fresh and tasted lovely. All the cakes looked amazing! Upon leaving again she couldn’t have been more helpful making it as easy as possible for us to get the pushchairs out. This isn’t my first time visiting and on every occasion the service has always been phenomenal. Great service, a place il be taking all my friends and family! 100% recommend

Atmospheric little cafe in middle of small retail sellers - arts and crafts etc. Food reasonable, service friendly but surprised later to read that food and hygiene rating is still only 2, with improvement required. I don’t see any changes from last time I visited.

Excellent, can’t fault it! Have been here on many occasions and have never had a bad experience. The food and drinks are excellent and so is the service. The staff are all really nice, friendly and attentive. We have had most things on the menu including vegetarian and always leave contented. The cakes and other deserts are second to none and variety of drinks is great.

Wonderful little tea room with an excellent lunch menu of home made delicious lunches and cakes. We chanced upon this place whilst visiting from London and found this gem. The mash, stew and dumplings and homemade chicken soup were delicious and my cream tea scones were the best I've ever had; and I've had a lot! I am fortunate in my job that I am able to eat out almost everyday; I only wish 10% of the establishments I tried were as good as this. It is ran by only two staff, so do be patient at busy times, but even then our lunch was out in under 10mins. It's also great value. Don't hesitate to try for yourself.

Couldn't fault the food & the menu of the day is such good value. Nice to have some proper Portuguese home cooked food & desserts are delicious too.

As always, as absolute delight. Home cooked meals, cakes and scones, all beautifully presented by cheerful staff. Ensure you book though! You don't want to be disappointed.

Lovely country pub. Food for vegans good option for Sunday roast. All food was very yummy. Wait staff were a bit slow/uncommunicative but it was a busy Sunday (asked for vegan option, was told they didn't know if they had one and would check only for it to then arrive. Would have nice to have been told so we didn't worry), I was unlucky and my dessert had a mouldy raspberry on it, I was then more unlucky as my lemonade had no flavour in it just soda water. Sent this back and was given another one that tasted the same. Attention to detail was missing from what was a very lovely pub and meal.

Lovely food tapas had a lovely selection for meat eaters or vegetarians. Very busy Christmas parties happening,lively atmosphere. The staff were super busy but very polite and friendly. Happy to go again.🌲 Also dog friendly

Excellent and such a Great relaxing place to go with your Friend or Family. Or just go and Treat yourself to one of it's very Good Quality Guest Beers. The inside of the Pub/Hotel is very oldy but with a modern twist. They do have real open log fire to Warm up and make You feel cosy. Also now, if you decide to go outside and have your drink or drinks, they have built an Entire Swiss Chalet Log Cabin as an Outside Bar and a Cinema. They do have now on the back wall, a Huge flat screen television with 4/8K Resolution that You can book tickets to see films here. This place will not disappoint you my Friends. If You want to come here and try something different, be my Guest. The Bull & Swan Pub/Hotel is deffinately on the Stamford Tourist map.
