Great place busy very polite staff

First time here despite working over at the business park. Wet and windy day but views overlooking the small section of broad land water was nice and much better views than other establishments around here. Service was a bit slow (Friends ordered eggs on toast) but staff were trying their best. I had a piri piri chicken roll which was huge and stuffed with succulent tomatoes chicken breast, had it with a coke, and it came to £7.20 which was quite steep (crisps were an option as part of a meal deal) but still more expensive than supermarkets etc, but the freshness of the roll was lovely, very filling. Loads of fresh pies and cakes and scones etc too choose from There is parking included which is great for around this way, the cafe is lovely and spacious and very clean, lots of spaces between tables too. Strong wifi also- again if you’re from nearby you’ll know what a rarity that is !!! Will definitely be back. Good job waterside cafe

Forget the negative reviews about staff shortage, it's not the Managers fault, it's Green King not giving him the financial support to be able to pay for extra staff. It's a great place to spend time. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Manager and staff are great, especially ANDY. They also treat kids great

We had booked in for afternoon tea for 6 of us to celebrate my friend’s mums 70th birthday. They called to let us know that some items want not be available the morning of, so we agreed to go through availability when we arrived. The tea room is absolutely beautiful. Very quirky, with old doors upcycled into tables, and beautiful mis-matched crockery, which added to the cosy, intimate feel of it. The food was amazing. Brilliant range of vegetarian and vegan options. Plus, so many different tea varieties. The star of the show for me, was the Norfolk lavender scone, with clotted cream and lemon curd. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they really couldn’t do enough for you. I’m so sorry I can’t remember the name of the lovely lady who looked after us, but you were fab. Amazing value for money, most of us left with our left overs in a box. It is dog friendly, which is a huge plus for me. I will most definitely be returning, as I had the best afternoon there.

The place has been nicely refurbished, comfortable seating at the tables, however we waited 40 minutes for our food & when it came our chips were at best Luke warm, the fish was nice & hot but the batter wasn't cooked on the inside, they did do us some more chips, which were hot.

Popped in for lunch after our excellent boat trip on Liana next door. Clean & welcoming with super fast service. We both had the leak & potato soup. Piping hot, perfect consistency with bite size lumps of potato plus strips of leak. It needed absolutely no seasoning, a superb taste, with bread & butter. We agreed probably the best we’ve ever had! A great find, while looking on Google Maps, to find somewhere for breakfast on our way to a nearby aviation museum. Where we had been staying doesn't do breakfast, and so we needed somewhere nearby to eat. This cafe is great, very popular, and it was obvious why. The menu was great, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly. Will definitely choose to eat here again when next up in Nofolk

Lovely day at Purdys with the live music, great friendly staff and lovely food and coffee. Always a friendly welcome. Look forward to see more events in the future!

We was had just handed the boat back across the river and the four of us thought we would go over the bridge to get some breakfast We sat inside waiting to be served then after about 15 mins a member of staff came over to ask us what we would like we asked first for two teas and two coffee’s which we we’re then told they had no milk to make them so we decided to drive into Great Yarmouth and get some breakfast there as we wanted drinks with the breakfast

service was very good and my Ploughman Lunch was just right and very enjoyable. The staff was very good and for a light lunch it was great well done Girls.

Pouring with rain today so popped in for a coffee and cake mid afternoon Very curt can I help from lady behind counter, asked for a coffee and can I sit in cafe area, told no cafe closed now. Got the feeling I was unwelcome and off you go attitude. Shame really won’t be going back! Walked down the road and got lovely coffee at V Cafe instead and got service there with a smile and a friendly hello

I went on a Saturday around 10 oclk to use the butchery and when I saw the queue to pay as it shared with cafe with what looked like one person serving was a complete joke so walked out .

Lovely staff, friendly and helpful. Disappointed in my coffee though as I ordered an iced caramel latte, hoping it would be as good or better than the chilled ones from supermarkets. I'm sure it would be to some peoples' tastes but I felt it lacked flavour and body. I'll definitely go back to Costa but will get something else next time

Came for works Christmas lunch £25 for 2 courses, I had pate starter this came with a large white roll no butter or garnish, I then had the Roast Turkey, this came with carrots which were cold, sprouts a parsnip and roast potatoes all the vegetables were frozen and tasteless and the turkey to me looked like turkey roll?? There was no cranberry sauce!! The staff were scruffy and the person serving our table did not have an apron on, no one came and asked us if everything was alright or if we need anything. No table service for drinks we were put on two tables to which we asked if we could move it and were told there wasn't enough space?? We ended up moving it ourselves so we could all sit together!! We were a party of 17 paying £25 per person for a frozen meal extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend this pub for food. I didn't eat mine as I was dubious how clean the kitchen was after seeing the staff that brought it out, total rip off!!

Very disappointed, booked as a birthday treat which was not acknowledged food mediocre service was bad waited a long for time a drink only to be given the wrong one when replace it was just plonked on the table with no apology 🙃 staff needs more training
