The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Epping Forest East of England

Whilst visiting the Abbey church and wonderful gardens on a cold April day, we came across this cafe at the end of our visit. It was cosy, warm and welcoming. We ordered two coffees alongside red velvet and victoria sponge cake. The coffee was smooth and not bitter and the cake portions were generous and tasty.

We were a party of four having a quick lunch. All the food was good and the place was clean and tidy. The visit was spoiled by the realisation that we were overcharged by more than £10. We would probably go again but definitely ask for a bill and check the amount charged. Sadly several other reviews also mention being overcharged so do go but be careful.

It is a lovely pub with a nice beer garden. And a lot of tvs big and small . Lovely experience and nice . Pub is good for younger people has a pool table and darts.

So I'm on my third date with this man. I thought he was the one, but after this evening spent at this café he told me "I'm too clingly" and that I need to "Relax for a bit"! Who does he think he is! Telling a single mother of 5 to RELAX! HOW DARE HE! I have been alone for 3 years and I though I had found the man of my dreams, the kids absolutely loved him but NO apparently falling in love at first sight doesn't exist anymore! I tried my hardest to please him. Every date we went on I had to hire 2 babysitters to look after the kids, so not only did I have to pay for my meal but I also had to pay for 2 babysitters 3 TIMES! Even when I offered a quiet date at my house, while the kids where at school, he declined saying it "Wasn't very romantic" I am trying to live my life and I thought he would want to join me on that! A lonely man like that would just have to marry me and already have five kids to look after, no work needed! But no apparently he's too good for that. Anyway, food was lovely and service was welcoming. I will be coming back with my 5 kids instead of a selfish nobody!

Wow, seriously amazing burgers, out done places like Hard rock cafe. 5 of us had different meals from the menu all great.

Absolutely great. Great quality well cooked food with amazing service! The new owners clearly know what they are doing.

This was our first time at the Kings Head, we had very good service from Carol who was our waitress. She was very chatty and friendly, showed interest in us and was very passionate about her role and the food she was serving us. A really lovely woman. We will definitely be back as she was so warm and welcoming.

Interesting place, the roof area is open to pipes but has chandeliers hanging into the café. Order at the counter and food is served at the table inside and outside space. Not a huge variety, but all well cooked and nicely presented. Staff are very friendly. Café is almost next door to Tesco's so makes it an ideal spot to chill before taking the shopping home!

Lovely food, good choice of dishes, helpful and friendly staff, great atmosphere.

Far too slow and food is poor. Serving staff are pleasant but lack experince. 25 mins to bring coffees. Far too long when you have a limited lunch break. Jacket potato has that old taste like it had been in the fridge for a few days. Expensive and left as all underwhelmed. Such a shame as it used to be great.

Lovely pub, good food, friendly staff, and cosy inside! Would love to visit qgain - just a shame we live too far away!
