Popped in as had half an hour to kill before I had to pick up my son from a class and it looked cosy. I thought I’d travelled back in time when I was charged £1.35 for a half a pint of the guest ale. In 2024! Not often you’re surprised by how cheap something is these days! Lovely old school atmosphere and friendly staff too.

Nice coffee shop. Hadn't been here before until this morning but it was nice and plenty of seating available. Good cakes and nice coffee.

Nice place to chill over a cuppa

Called in at reception point and asked wait time for food with the reply “none.” We took a table for 2 adults and 2 children on a Sunday at 1pm. Water and drinks were served fairly swiftly and our food order taken. Two requests later and our food arrived at 1.35pm. Of the two children’s meal, one a pasta with tomato sauce was a good sized portion. (6.95)The other a macaroni cheese was served in a ramekin with two slices of bread smothered in a jar pesto sauce. (7.50) Totally inedible for adults let alone children! The burger at £17.50 was basic at best with a small portion of fries. The two “small plates” were acceptable and served with small but fresh amount of salad accompaniments. £2.85 for a small bottle of tonic water was also a bit steep! Two of our party had to leave early otherwise we may have spoken directly to the staff at the time. Have had much better food (more choice) on previous occasions. This menu seemed to be predominantly quick fry food - a shame.

Lovely venue, good seats and excellent view regardless of where you sat. We saw The Little Prince by the Protein group and would recommend seeing this if you can. The cafe is good and staffed by friendly and patient people.

Work Christmas party £35 pp. in the bar area down stairs which was tiny for 30 people! food was a huge disappointment! All that was available was 1 tray of sausage rolls, a tray of turkey wraps for vegetarians 2 trays of cheese! & 1 tray of the tiniest brownie squares. For £35pp! & just cheese for vegetarians! ONLY save on this was the DJ. Would not recommend this option for a party complete rip off!!

The café was clean, quiet, and well-lit, creating a pleasant environment with plenty of seating available. It’s conveniently located, and as expected from Costa, there’s a good range of food and drinks, including vegan options. While the space itself was lovely, I felt the staff could have been a bit more welcoming. They were efficient, but a warmer approach would enhance the overall experience. If you're in the area, this is a decent option, there is also another Costa and a Caffè Nero nearby. A bit more friendliness from the team would make this spot even better.

Cheap beer and the lady behind the bar was friendly. The pub itself was dirty, and toilets were damaged and disgusting.

Excellent coffee and a truly amazing selection of artisan cakes and sweets. Loved chatting with the owner who has such passion and talent. Well worth a visit.

Normally ordered my and partner cappuccinos through the app and every time got nice price with discount of 55 pi as the totals equivalent to £1.10, but today no any discount only two stamps .I asked the boy making my order DexterD, but he not intended to help me. Caffe Nero you losing my starvation to be your customer! Look becoming cheap high street caffeine who's not respected their loyalty customers! Chao Nero!!!

Would not change a slice of toast for no beans on breakfast so they have lost are custom would expect them to make a small change considering the price of 15 pounds
