Gorgeous coffee, delicious cake including vegan option, and friendly service!

I left sad and annoyed. I have favourably reviewed this cafe in the past but it has all changed now, and not for the better. The kitchen has gone, and with it the expresso machine. Frankly, this can hardly claim to be a cafe. I paid £5.70 for a miserable excuse for a cappuccino and a flapjack. The coffee was very weak, with thin froth on the top. The flapjack was decent, but the bill was a joke. I will remember the old days with affection, but I won't be going back.

A good old fashioned pub on the edge of the city, seasoned regulars and a great landlady. What more could you ask for? Service with a smile and a community drinking in their local, fantastic!

The best cake I have had in a long while, so many don't live up to expectations. Worthy of a hand shake!

Must-try in Boaton! At the renowned Faneuil Market. Flavorful and comforting Clam Chowder.

Cannot fault this little cafe , they offer everything you could want or need and all done so with a smile , highly recommend and if I am ever back in the area book me in for breakfast, thanks again 😄

I went for afternoon tea with my daughter as a treat for Christmas but was so disappointed the food was so bland and scones were so dry and fell apart . Ended up leaving a lot and putting some in a box only to throw away . The service was poor and very overpriced as the sandwiches were tasteless have visited many restaurants but this was one of the worst and for £65.00 would definitely not recommend.

Permanently closed. Website still takes orders for gift vouchers and bookings with a deposit which can no longer be redeemed or refunded.

We came to the Cafe as it’s usually one of my favourite spots to go in Norwich and we had a little time to ourselves so thought we’d treat ourselves to a piece of cake and hot drink. When first entering the cafe we were immediately told that the cafe would be closing in half an hour. Why not just say it’s only take away now? I then asked the waitress if the oat matcha latte was decaf and just got a firm ‘no’ which felt rather rude and I wondered why not as decaf coffee was available? We then just felt incredibly rushed- the bill was given to us before we’d even finished our drinks properly. It has put me off. We took 20 minutes and left promptly. If you aren’t willing to serve people coming in at the end of the day with the same courtesy as people earlier on, maybe just say it’s take away only- I’d have felt more comfortable leaving with our food than staying in the end.

Probably the best cafe breakfast I’ve had. Quality ingredients and prompt polite service. Had the largest breakfast on the first visit, was so impressed went back the next day and had poached eggs and bacon on bubble and squeak which was homemade and delicious. Only negative is no HP, only Daddies which is a personal preference
