It’s not often you find a place with lovely people, amazing food and fantastic decor. This place is truly unique. I can’t recommend this place enough - every town/village/city needs a huggers!

The coffee is nothing short of exceptional – rich, flavourful, and brewed to perfection every single time. Whether you're a fan of a bold espresso or a smooth latte, they have mastered the art of crafting the perfect beverage. But it's not just the coffee that keeps me coming back – the food is equally outstanding. Their menu offers a fresh, creative range of options, from delicious pastries to hearty sandwiches, all made with top-quality ingredients and a real passion for flavour. What really sets Town Green apart, though, is the staff. They are simply the best! Engaging, attentive, and always ready with a smile, they make you feel welcome from the moment you step through the door. What I love most is their sense of humour – they are genuinely funny, quick with a joke or a witty remark that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your visit. It's clear they love what they do, and that energy is infectious. It's rare to find a place that not only serves incredible coffee and food but also creates such a warm and joyful atmosphere. This was a first class afternoon tea and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and more. This was on a par with the best of any afternoon tea we’ve had before…including great communication to forward book, quality and quantity food, a flattering table service and beautiful English tea / crockery set, the table all set and reserved prior, made to feel valued and even helped up wrap up what we wanted to save for later. A very discreet place serving wonderful home cooked cakes (it does other food but we were there for the cake). I'm not sure if everything was vegan but I think so. I'm not a vegan btw. Our host (Raf - sorry if I've got that wrong) was very friendly & welcoming.

Beautiful breakfast and very tasty, asked for a fresh orange juice but what arrived was a squash or very watery juice…but apart from that it was lovely and will return. Great customer service too, very attentive.

This is a friendly, cosy little cafe. The espresso coffee is particularly good, as are the home-made cakes. There's a varied menu that caters for vegetarians, vegans and people with gluten intolerance.

The coffee here is absolutely superb. The sourdough tastes amazing. Great variety and quality using the best ingredients.

Wanted somewhere to go with my 3 year old and meet up with my mum and dad. Found this place on line and it was great. Very clean great for the kids and best if all very reasonable 4 of us for lunch £18. Will deff be back

Very warm welcoming pub and have had many a great night here recently watching local artists performing and now they have opened the kitchen and will be trying the food out soon. Wonderful gardens too so can’t wait for the weather to brighten up and get out in the fresh air and enjoy a good 🍺 x

Great pub with excellent staff friendly locals and in a great location with a large green opposite, Welcomed our Husky after his walk on the green , had a live band in the evening unfortunately a little to late for our visit . Will definitely return when visiting Diss again in the future.

Naturally quiet on a Tuesday night in November but relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and solid classic rock playlist! Enjoyed my Moving Mountains vegan burger ... with, umm, Stilton because I'm not a vegan ... 😋
