The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Waveney East of England

Stopped in for a drink and breakfast/brunch. The cafe was a little busy so we went to the the other building they had a door down which was decorated lovely inside - nice big olive? tree? Order on the app and they bring the drinks and food across from the other building. Terry’s Orange Hot Chocolate was very good and tasty. Had a toasted sandwich - again very tasty. The menu is small but different offerings which were nice.

Absolutely brilliant, a real hidden gem. The food and service was excellent. It was so good, we even brought a takeaway.

Cracking Food, Excellent Service atmosphere was amazing, What a great afternoon for our Christmas Lunch. All us old boy's from Norfolk had a brilliant afternoon. Well done to you all at the Ringsfield Tavern.

Delicious food, good ambience and entertaining lunch with Desmondo’s and a one of our group reciting poetry from Christopher Matthew and one friend reciting Stanley Holloway with Albert and the Lion. Booked again for another entertaining lunch next month!!!!!

I visited here on a quiet Sunday morning and was delighted by the quality of the breakfast. Nestled as it is amongst a parade of arts & crafts and antiques shops, this cafe is very conveniently located not too far off the beaten track and there is plenty of parking. We sat out front in a cosy little covered verandah, which is perfect on a sunny day. Service is friendly and efficient, and the ambience is very relaxed and informal. We all opted for the medium breakfast (2 bacon, 1 egg, 1 sausage), feeling that the large breakfast (2 bacon, 2 eggs, 2 sausages) was perhaps too much. The 'extra-large' breakfast (3 bacon, 3 eggs, 3 sausages) even more so. Still, it was nice to have the choice. The breakfast itself was pretty quick to arrive and comes with toast and butter. The only negative is that the egg was poached. That would not have been my preference, and I wasn't given the choice, but that is a minor niggle. Overall, a delightful little place serving a decent breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. What's not to like?

What a delightful find after fleeing Beccles where the food outlets were Weatherspoons, Greggs and cafes serving anaemic pizza. The Black Dog tasty delicious quality food and welcoming staff!

Lovely cafe with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I needed to find something both gluten and dairy free, and the owners were able to offer me a good choice of sandwiches fillings in a lovely gluten free roll, plus a delicious Pecan and Orange Flapjack for dessert! A fantastic gem of a place. Would highly recommend.

Love this place . Great coffee , lovely food . I've already bought my first houseplant also . There is a patio area out the back with a view across the fields . I'm definitely going to be a regular here . There may be a problem with viewing my photos , not sure atm why .

Had seen this place while having a wander around Southwold so decided to come back to try it out. We enjoyed our choices of lentil dhal and potato & leek soup although considered them a tad expensive.

Unfortunately disappointed with this play cafe. We were looking for somewhere to play and have lunch. Yes it will provide just that but you may be shocked by the price. It's very overpriced for children's food and adults food and the entry is an absolute fortune. I understand they have to make a profit and I understand that things are expensive but there is other soft plays out there that offer affordable meals for children, snack boxes in most soft plays are under £5 at bugs play cafe they are a whopping £8.95..... For sandwiches crisps a snack and a drink, I think that is ridiculous. Food is bang average, atmosphere is dry, service is slow but I understand that everything is fresh so that's the reason. Maybe this is a good place for the rich but definitely not for the poor.

Great little cafe and kiosk. Fab coffee, great selection of ice creams. Staff were lovely. Perfect place to pop too if using harbour end of Southwold beach / car park.
