The staff here were really friendly. We went in for some ice cream and we got substantial portion sizes which was appreciated. I had a salted caramel. It was alright but certainly not the best salted caramel ice cream i’ve had as it wasn’t that flavoursome. But the other flavours looked really nice and might be better than the caramel so I’d say defo worth a visit

Excellent venue. Driven past many times but so pleased we stopped this time. Staff were very friendly even though busy. Good choice of drinks and cakes. (Though limited on the vegan option) Dog friendly plus baby change. Would have gone for a walk but Storm Bert put a stop to that! Will visit again. Recommended.

Decent drinks but no gluten free options when looking for a cake. Giving one loyalty stamp when buying 4 drinks does not generate any loyalty. I suspect we won't be back as there are plenty of other options in Southwold - in fact after we left here we walked around Southwold and then ended up at Jakery Bakery where we all had drinks and they had numerous Gluten Free options

We would have liked to have had lunch here but they were, unsurprisingly, full. But, still a godsend of a find for me as I am gluten intolerant. It was SOOOO good to get a gf, vegan sausage roll as I never see such things anywhere. I wish that more bakeries like this would open up everywhere, and maybe they will. Thanks so much!

This is my favorite cafe and bakery in Southwold. I’ve lived abroad and visited coffee shops all over the world, and this one has a special community feel. The team here are so warm and welcoming, genuinely lovely people. The café has an inviting, friendly atmosphere, with regulars coming in every day. I've had plenty of spontaneous conversations here that have genuinely brightened my day. The coffee has rich flavors and is strong enough to wake me up for my morning writing session, and the pastries are freshly made and delicious. It is the only coffee shop on the main high street with big, tall windows which run all along the front of the cafe, meaning it gets plenty of light and is also great for gazing out the window while you sip your coffee and chat with friends or sit and read/write. There’s a cute courtyard out back with plenty of seating. I’m so happy I found this place and will continue to come daily whenever I’m in Southwold. I highly recommend a visit!

Popped in for food tonight with the family…. Food was really good , it’s just the sullen look and unfriendly attitude of the young lady that served us, I was made to feel like everything was an effort …. Come on adnams do better with the training … at least teach these people to smile and engage with customers

Friendly staff and great coffee. My daughter loved the apple shortcake and I’ve had both takeaway and sat in. I feel other reviews are quite harsh. Nobody loves a wooden fork but anyone with common sense understands why this coffee shop is moving to an environmentally sustainable way of operating. When we sat inside our mugs were ‘proper’ so not sure why others feel china mugs should be provided as a takeaway. If the service felt slow it might be because you walk away with your order rather than sitting and waiting for it.
