The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in St James's City of London, Westminster London

This Costa is near my workplace and so I pop in quite often. It is nice and spacious and there is plenty of seating inside. Each time that I have visited, the staff have been friendly and have a positive attitude which is much appreciated. I also find their festive drinks to be the best out of all the big chains. I particularly recommend the Caramel Nutcracker Latte. My only feedback would be they should have a code or lock for the toilet, as there have been times I have gone to use it and it has been occupied by someone who is clearly not customer or purchased anything.

Best cappuccino in my entire life. Lovely pastries too.

Came here today with my mum for the Winter Afternoon Tea. Other than the view, the food and service were excellent!! I’d 100% recommend this.

Este es un viejo bar genial en una calle pequeña. El bar está situado a ambos lados de la calle, lo que no he visto antes. El interior es ese viejo sentimiento británico muy cool.

Hice reservas de última hora para este pub porque estaba justo al lado del teatro. Había estado allí antes y sabía que era bueno. Y esta vez fue aún mejor. Gran comida, maravilloso bajo - ambiente clave (menos agitado y ruidoso que otros pubs) buen servicio.

Visited recently and had a really disappointing experience. After ordering a round of drinks, the security team ejected one of our party for vaping too close to the premises (while outside the building). Attempted to amicably resolve the situation afterwards given we weren't able to consume any of the drinks we had purchased but was consistently ignored by the management team before eventually being told essentially it wasn't their problem. Really poor customer service and morally reprehensible business conduct on a number of levels.

I have to say I have been a fan and a lover of Patisserie Valerie for many years. I used to go the one in Leeds at least once a week fr breakfast. I've come to this one (in Leicester Sq) a few times and I have to be really really honest.. It's gone down so much and it's such a shame. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I am honest and I hope it helps to improve things. There is so much wrong, I don't know where to start. The service was poor, the waiter didn't write down what I ordered and he had to come back and ask me to confirm what I ordered. However he then bought me the wrong food. All he said was, I'll get it changed and I was left waiting for a while. When the food (I ordered Eggs Benedict, with a side of beans) did come, it was cold and under cooked. Again I will be honest and say, I was left disappointed. They do have some amazing sweets, cakes etc.. but the service in this case was a let down. I can't say that would not go back, but I can't promise I would.

Fue servido por Alfie y Stephen, el mejor servicio que he recibido en un pub. La mayoría de los pubs de Londres solo quieren un servicio rápido, pero estos chicos realmente se preocupan por el servicio al cliente y asegurarse de que todo esté a la altura. ¡Gracias chicos!

I love this Costa so much! The lady who was making my drink is so friendly and funny! We also had a nice little conversation too whilst she was making my drink and drink was fab! Definitely come back!

The staff (mainly manager/owner?) are awful and very rude. Paid £20 deposit for a bar tab before coming, my friend was told to wait 30 mins before coming in then when coming into the bar I was told I had to pay even though all of my friends were inside, I had already paid £20 and none of them had paid entry. Tried to explain it to the man who I assume was the manager but he was very rude. I told him our table was booked under the name Chris to which he responded “I don’t know there’s too many Chris’s”?!? When we were inside we waited a long time for drinks. Not a good experience

Quiet location. Hidden away. Very slow service which was irritating. Food was tasty and the sharing platters are good value.

Filthy, revolting coffee and staff have no idea what the hell is going on!! Do yourself a favour and avoid!

Stopped here as there were free tables to watch some performers. We asked for two glasses of wine. Sauvignon Blanc. When they came it was clear they weren’t SB but staff had all but disappeared so unable to question this. I was also asked to move my chair back which I had turned so I was side on rather than having my back to the performers. Chair with me in it was still in the same place, just turned the other way. I didn’t mind turning back, it was the way I was asked/ordered. Staff rude and unwelcoming. No wonder they had empty tables and everyone else was full.

Hermoso café con leche estilo italiano. Servido puntualmente y sin alboroto y / o upselling. Como visitante de la ciudad, esto fue una revelación (o debería decir ‘Ravello - ation’).
