Love this local pub. It’s very welcoming and comfortable with a range of seating, from large tables to snug nooks, and numerous fireplaces. The garden is large with loads of seating as well as a children’s play area. Very dog friendly- and with a great pub dog - and fantastic food. Their smoked meats and roasts are especially tasty and generous. A huge bonus for this part of Catford/Forest Hill which otherwise lacks good places to eat and drink.

Amazing little fish restaurant with a superb menu offering quality freshly cooked good food . Very tasty and well priced, excellent service. lovely wine available too. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys fish. The restaurant is quite small but accommodates for adequate covers. Really friendly staff who are very customer focused. Will be making this a regular dining experience

Great pub. Wide range of beer and whisky. Good summer beer garden. Sports on TV. Best pub in south east London.

An on trend pub in an up and coming part of South London. Got a good vibe. Took a meal with a group of friends and it was fine.

Warm and cozy restaurant and cafe. High quality products, fresh bakery and healthy meals. Easily becoming my go to place when I am around Surrey Quays

The food was incredible, but unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. The staff (in particular one waitress) seemed disengaged and rude, even when we made simple requests like asking for cutlery. Additionally, our meals were served about 30 minutes apart, meaning some of us had finished eating while others were still waiting. It felt like more than just a bad day at work—it was a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism.

Blackheath is lovely with lots of places to visit but glad we found here. Friendly team and good food at reasonable prices

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months now, at least 2-3 times a week. They do the best panini’s in London lol. Staff are super friendly and it’s a family run buisness which gives it that extra warm feeling. Chai latte slaps and it’s super affordable. Honestly get anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed.

I called ahead to get a bouquet made up, gave my price range and colours I wanted and they absolutely smashed it out of the park. I'm so impressed.

The Fat Walrus made our joint 21st birthday a total joy - we booked the back area for a group and had a night of affordable drinks, lovely pizza, Prosecco, and brilliant live music to boot! Paul and the staff were so accommodating and welcoming and put up with our singing and dancing all night, making it a really memorable one! Went for my birthday. I asked if they did any birthday treat and I was told no. Fair enough. The food was not fresh. It was obvious it was left overs that they reheated. I’m pregnant and started getting a belly ache. That visit was not great for my birthday treat. I’ve been there before and it was not that like.
