The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in The Lane Southwark London

Have recently moved to Nunhead and this is the 4th time I have been in here each time hoping for an improvement in staff attitude. The staff particularly the dark haired boy are unfriendly to the point of rudeness, they seem very good at chatting among themselves and to their trendy mates but can barely be bothered to serve me or make my coffee. I am middle aged but went onto a super trendy coffee place in Brick Lane at the weekend and the young fashionable staff were friendly, smiley and helpful. The same in East Dulwich. I am sorry as I would've been into this cafe daily if it had felt ,ore welcoming.

Recomiendo la chapata de picnic que tiene un valor increíble con un relleno abundante (!) Y hay excelentes pasteles para llevar con un hermoso parque enfrente para comerlo todo. La señora que lo dirige es muy educada y amable a pesar de los desafíos actuales. Recoja un poco de detergente líquido de recambio u otros productos básicos mientras esté allí.

Este es un buen bar, pero la zona exterior es tan desordenada. Lleno de camada y plantas muertas parece que no ha sido barrido o ordenado desde el invierno. Hay una camada muy vieja recogida en los árboles que estaba allí hace meses cuando se visitó por última vez.

Came down the pyrotechnics arms for a roast dinner with family for the afternoon and was not disappointed the staff were very friendly the food was excellent and we didn’t wait that long for the food to come out even though the pub was very busy. We will definitely be back

Been here a few times, but this time we decided to try out their jerk roast and when I tell you I was mostly disappointed, I'm not playing. The starters were decent, we had the saltfish fritters and the wings. Both were tasty but I wouldn't say bursting with flavour. Then for mains I had the jerk lamb, which I was looking forward to ALL week. The portion size was good but the lamb was TOUGH, I rocked the table trying to cut it. The rice was nice but the potatoes let the side down, as well as the Yorkshire pudding. Staff are lovely and service was good but I wouldn't recommend this as a place to get a good Caribbean roast.

Visité Honest Burgers en Peckham, y tengo que decir que es uno de los mejores lugares en los que he comido. La comida es absolutamente increíble - pedí la hamburguesa honesta, y cada bocado era perfecto. La carne estaba jugosa, los ingredientes estaban perfectamente equilibrados y el bollo estaba fresco y suave. Se nota que se centran en la calidad de sus ingredientes. ¿El servicio? Top - notch! El personal era amable, servicial y súper eficiente - se nota que disfrutan de lo que hacen. El ambiente en el restaurante es muy relajado, lo que lo convierte en un gran lugar para relajarse y disfrutar de su comida. Otro aspecto destacado es la excelente selección de cervezas, que combinan perfectamente con las hamburguesas. La relación calidad-precio también es realmente impresionante. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que busque buena comida y un ambiente frío. ¡Volveré seguro!

Me decepcionó que la comida no estaba caliente, era como si las alas se sacaran si la nevera y no se calentara completamente. Luego nos faltaba una parte de nuestro pedido, cuando fuimos y encontramos a un miembro del personal, enviaron a otro miembro del personal a nuestra mesa que luego estaba comprobando si teníamos dicho artículo alimenticio. Nadie vino y nos preguntó cómo estaba nuestra comida. Las bebidas casi no están en stock. En general gasté más de £ 100 y no sentí que obtuve valor por mi dinero. Tuvimos un par de llegadas tarde que pidieron por separado y obtuvieron una experiencia completamente diferente, el chef les dio un plato gratis ya que un pedido estaba mal, un miembro del personal se acercó a la mesa y preguntó cómo era su comida.

Friendly staff, good drinks options in a convenient place. The food is tasty but expensive for what it is. Get drinks here and food elsewhere.

Wonderful service. Perfect work atmosphere. The quiet rustle of trains above my head was the wind beneath my wings as I trekked through the working day. Cheeky wine at lunch (don’t tell the boss!) had my buzzing. The friendly staff behind the counter had me feeling welcome and seen - they complimented my wolf cut! Good bit of banter that. Just off a tangent from the high street is a lovely location. Not too busy but enough wandering souls and stories to reinforce the sense of community. Sometimes whenlife quietens down i’m reminded of the lonely nights i endured when my brother ran away with my husband back to Panama. So that’s a bonus! Overall, great time would recommend and will be returning. P.s. tuna melt was a bit dense laid down a brick, would personally give it 3-5 working days.

Dreadful place. Over priced, very rude owner who is also openly racist towards customers. AVOID. By buying from here you are giving your money to a person known locally to be racist and discriminatory towards black or Muslim customers.
