Good priced food and a nice environment!

Could not have been more welcoming and friendly. It's not a huge place but they coped easily with our group of 10 on a Saturday night with a live band playing. We all had a great time - many thanks!

Yet again we have had great food at the beehive inn, cooked to order but we'll worth the wait as it was excellent. The pesto salmon was fabulous according to my wife who loves salmon. I had the gish and chips with curry sauce and that was some of the best I've had. Staff are great and attentive and the place is really nice. Booking ahead is recommended to guarantee a table.. Good choice of real ales also available. We shall be back. Went with friends this week, the Xmas turkey lunch/dinner was absolutely spot on and worth every penny. A great place to eat!!!

Prime location in the village of tynemouth, parking can often be a disaster but worth the disaster for the reward this amazingly cosy chocolate shop offers. Hot chocolates are to die for, signature, white, vegan, kids there is a hot chocolate for everyone, also welcomes a range of coffee based beverages, chocolate bars, cakes, brownies and luxury chocolate truffles also tea for those who are not a fan of chocolate or coffee, calm environment, barista's are all so welcoming and helpful on any dietary issues. Perfect corner of the world in a perfect chocolatier. If you havent been go!

We visited here for an early dinner yesterday. Food was excellent but the only really BIG let down was the staff. We finished our meal but sat 30-40 mins with the plates in front of us whilst there was 5 members of staff just standing behind the bar. It was not that busy at this time, the couple on the next table had finished before us and they were sat with plates in front of them as well. We noticed your staff were all quite young maybe they were waiting for someone to tell them what to do! We were going to order more drinks and coffees but we got ignored. We left with the plates still on the table and went to the bar to get our own bill. We normally always leave a generous tip but not on this occasion. As I mentioned food excellent but your staff let you down big time.

As a regular over the years, it was super disappointing to see what it’s become. As the previous review stated, really rude staff and not a pleasant experience.
