The milkshakes were terribly overpriced and way to high in calories! after my shake i felt terrible and so fatty, this made my self esteem go down by alot because my local priest told me i had put on weight.

Treated myself to a turkey bap with apple sauce and stuffing late afternoon for £6.50. Had one at cross keys a few weeks ago and was delicious. This one was the total opposite. Tiny pieces of chopped up turkey from end of joint which had almost gone. Couldn't bite through meat as hard and crispy and burnt. All meat was like this and I wouldn't give it to my dog. Complete waste of my money as shop should have thrown this end piece away. Won't buy there again as sausage rolls and pastry pies often don't seem properly cooked with pastry needed cooking longer. . . . Waste of my money which I don't have a lot of.

Excellent Sunday lunch. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We went with friends with two small children and could not have been looked after better. The food was very good and lots of it! Perfectly cooked and presented well. Lovely country pub we would recommend a visit.

Having just moved into the area, we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit last month. Sunday lunch for four was a not inconsiderable £140 but admirable quality and competent service. Yesterday's brunch was a completely different affair. Despite being served by five different members of staff, our food took an absolute age to appear. When it did, a number of breakfast items were either lukewarm or cold. Baked beans served in a twee metal saucepan which was red hot to the touch but the contents barely warmed through were returned. A decent quality mushroom was stone cold and the Day-Glo egg yolks suggested a cheap bulk buy. Extras? Mini hash browns with an unpronounceable sauce, the emphasis on mini. At £4.50 not a big hit with us. A tiny half-slice of black pudding was charged at £1. Beyond cheapskate when I'm parting with £80 for four breakfasts including teas and coffee. A discretionary 7.5% service charge is added here. Under the circumstances it could have been withheld, but the onus is on the customer to complain. Which I did, but many wouldn't. No sign of a duty manager, just lots of staff seemingly lacking direction or motivation. "At Parogon Group, our journey is one of growth, ambition, and a love for great hospitality." Inspiring qualities but certainly not our experience.

Not bad, but nothing special. Coffee is a bit disappointing and the service tends to be slow. Can't blame the staff for that though, it's the usual Alderley Edge clientele who hold everything up as they wait until getting to the front of the line before deciding what they want to drink - every single time this happens. Otherwise it's in a fairly nice spot and has outdoor seating.

5 ⭐️ Carvery & 5 ⭐️ Service Visited for lunch to meet friends half way. Great location just off the M6. Staff really friendly and let us keep our table even though friends were running an hour late. Carvery was fantastic and the atmosphere in the pub is really friendly & relaxed. Thanks very much 😃

Mid week the Harrow had plenty of space to accommodate an impromptu family gathering. I know that at weekends it’s really advised to reserve a table. We’ve been coming to this pub pretty much all our lives, but was impressed by the upgrades and expansion. The menu was interesting and didn’t disappoint. The service from Shane was awesome. They have some great offers and discounts online so that diners of all budgets can enjoy it. Definitely putting this back on my “visits Home” itinerary.

We got together with family for our engagement/ Christmas celebration. The manager, Matthew made us feel welcome from the moment we came in. The food was superb and the service was warm and friendly. I had the festive menu- the turkey was succulent and delicious and the vegetables were so tasty. We had our dog, Angus with us and he was given his own plate of treats. A lovely cosy pub and a great experience, thank you!
