Afternoon tea at Lytham Hall was excellent. After a tour of the hall where Denise gave us lots of interesting facts about the Clifton family we went for afternoon tea. What a great experience. Simon was the perfect host with Angela attending on us very diligently. Food was fabulous, surroundings were refined and experience was excellent. Thanks for giving us an exceptional experience.

This place is absolutely amazing. Me and my partner went with our friend and his dog. It was a completely horrendously wet day so sat outside (our choice) with our doggie companion. They put the outside heaters on for us to dry out. The food we ordered for the 3 of us and an extra dish for our doggie was delicious. The people that brought us our food were lovely, polite and very attentive. Would definitely recommend this place and if in the area wouldn’t hesitate to go back to. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Being local this is one of favourite places to go, we are aware they are "dog friendly". What was so disappointing yesterday is that for a small place there were THREE dogs in it and not under the table (which is meant to the rule)... One retriever was really large and would never have been anywhere near to fitting under the table. As I'm extremely allergic we left. I was ill after what should have been a pleasant start to the day. As our nieces are scared stiff of dogs it's also off our places to go list when we have them visit. Aside from the unhygienic matter of dogs around food, there's the fear factor for some and allergy factor for others. I know people with dogs think they are owed a living and treat them like humans.... But they're not human , they still lick their asses, they smell and their hair does shed..... All in places people are paying to eat!!! We won't be back.

No orange gin...ran out. No flavoured alternative other than rhubarb. Staff couldn't tell me what tonic water brand they had. They didn't actually seem to understand what tonic water was (2 teens waiting on and 1 older bartender who didnt seem to be English so slight language barrier). All nice people but pretty clueless about drinks. No atmosphere. So many other options in lytham so won't be returning.

Nice food, good atmosphere, horrendously bad attitude from the higher management staff. I don’t usually write bad reviews however, One member of staff was playing darts the other constantly texting on his phone. Stood at bar alone for 10 minutes. Shame used to be such a great pub

Whilst better then my previous experience at waters edge from which we hadn't returned for 8 years, we went or a family meal. Whilst adequate, the carvery wouldn't be recommended. The meat portions weren't great given the price point, there's much cheaper options at other venues for better value. The beef was extremely dry and the roast potato's were like concrete balls. The Mash, was a particularly strange set up, as seemingly this is made to order and has to be requested. New one on me but fair enough. Unfortunately this was only made aware to us after getting the meats by a tiny little chalk sign on top of the counter and seemingly all the staff had disappeared into the main kitchen. it took 3-4 minutes food growing colder by the second, before one of the chefs noticed us and told us he would bring it to our table. Sometime later, as we were tucking into out last mouthfuls on our plate, 2 bowls of mash were brought over to us... Puddings Another new one on me was the pudding selection on the kids menu. 3 Options of Ice Lollys!!! FRUIT STACK,FAB ,SMARTIES POP UP. Now for £5.45 for a meal drink and Ice Lolly its quite good value, however we had to ask 3 different members of staff to get this for us! Generally nice set upas far as the restaurant goes, but won't be rushing back.

The Blossoms has been my local for many years.....The price of Beer/ Lager is reasonable for Ansdell/ Lytham. I now prefer to pay a little more elsewhere in Lytham. There is a daily parade of dogs ( not only in public areas but taken into the loos plus several exchanges of barking.) The pub is usually warm...Tuesday 3rd December the place was extremely cold...every person " wrapped up"...I spoke to the male waiter about it. Fond memories from previous visits
