A very useful shop providing not only essential food items but a place to meet in the village with nice views from inside whilst drinking a coffee.

Met a couple of friends for dinner, they wanted somewhere dog friendly so they could bring their Spaniel. It was very welcoming, warm fire burning in the grate and festively decorated for Christmas. The food was excellent, we each enjoyed a different kind of burger, followed by dessert. The staff were attentive and friendly and it really was excellent value for money. It was just what we needed and we all thoroughly enjoyed a nice relaxing evening. If you are looking for a traditional friendly country pub with great food and welcoming atmosphere this is definitely the place to be.
