Under new Management since around May, seen a few Landlords/Landladies over the years, but the latest seem to be struggling getting things right! Firstly it was teething problems then it was the Euro’s, but what use is a Bar with no beer & soft drinks?? They seem to be consistently running out of beer, wine, spirits & soft drinks. On one of the visits there was only 2 pumps on, no Pepsi on the gun or soft drinks in cans, vodka. Please don’t presume that the bottles on the optics are House Spirits, check price before requesting, especially as the splash is even more than requesting say half of Pepsi. Prices are consistently changing from day to day. Wine selection is not great, that is if they have any. Pool table is not in the greatest place, especially at one part of the bar. I do believe they also have The Tap across the water, never been, so only comment I can make is that if it is run the same way as the The Five Alls I will not be visiting in future.

I visited for the first time today with my partner and our three-month-old daughter, and it will certainly be our last. Despite there being three empty tables when we arrived, we were told they were “reserved”—a claim that quickly seemed dubious. Each time a table became free, it too was marked as reserved. We stayed for 30 mins, and those supposedly reserved tables remained empty the entire time. Meanwhile, our three-month-old baby was forced to endure freezing weather outside. While I understand Saturdays are busy, it is baffling that management could not show the basic consideration to let us use one of these empty tables, at least temporarily, to keep our baby warm. It is inexcusable to prioritise holding empty tables over the well-being of a young child, especially when those tables remained unoccupied the entire time we were there. We were told we would be allowed inside once a table was free, yet as we sat shivering outside, we watched table after table collect dust. By the time a table finally opened up, we had already finished our visit. To top it off, we paid £11.50 for two mochas and a slice of cake that looked and tasted like something from a wholesale warehouse like Costco. For that price, we expected much better quality. This wasn’t a matter of being entitled. I understand the challenges of hospitality, but common sense and decency should have prevailed. Allowing a family with a young baby to take an unused, empty table temporarily isn’t a difficult or unreasonable ask. Instead, we experienced poor management, lackluster service, and disappointing food. I would not recommend this establishment to parents with young children or anyone expecting decent service and quality for their money.

Well I turned up half an hour before its advertised closing time to the evident annoyance of the staff. Tried ignoring me and when that didnt work reluctantly served me and forced me to listen to a rant about how they were just about to close. The finale to this performance was deliberately putting the cup of coffee as far away as possible on the counter. My tip if you want to close early shut the door and put up a closed sign. Absolute height of rudeness. The coffee was ok

Had trouble finding the Country Park but once we had, afternoon tea & ice cream were a must in this little cafe. The ice-cream is just fantastic - you must try the UNICORN flavour!

On Christmas day we had our first Christmas day in the white hart which was planned because I lost my dad who passed away and wanted to goto the pub for Christmas day. What we loved about the day was having our own table for the Intire time we were there. It was a four course meal cooked beautifully and served by the staff who were fantastic through out. The chef done a fantastic job with a very good portion on the plate. If my Dad was here he would be very happy about the meal we were served. The Management and staff of the white hart Gosport should hold there heads high with pride for a wonderful Christmas lunch with fantastic service and allways smiling through out.

This popular seafront bakery has changed since our first visit. There are less tables inside but the menu choices seemed larger and some of them are rather unusual. This is not really a place for full meals, but if you are after a pie/pasty type of lunch or some tasty cake with a drink, this is the place for you.
