Beautifully presented afternoon tea for my mum’s birthday. Delicious food. Very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Thank you for making mum feel special.

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Nearly opted for the big burger and chips option as an easy choice, but we had 4 small plates instead – superb quality, beautifully cooked and plated by people who care. Homemade focaccia, pearl barley and pigeon risotto, rarebit with leeks and poached egg – plus parfait with fresh hot brioche. Now that sounds all a bit fancy – but it was just a relaxed place for lunch. We also narrowly avoiding stealing the crockery as that was nice too. I’m getting tired of every pub in the area charging £32 for fish and chips. But we pottered out for a walk around the village after a £45 lunch bill including a couple of soft drinks in a great pub where obviously people care. We sat in the cosy main part of the pub which is all flagstones and open fire, and there’s a large conservatory/orangery at the back that was 70% full on a midweek Wednesday with a wonderful view. A lovely teashop with good selection of food . Enjoyed the haloumi mushroom stack for brunch & the cream tea was nice . Easy parking too . Generally , a little pricey .

We booked a table for my a granddaughters 18th Birthday. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our table. Our server for our visit was Macey who gave us amazing service. She was friendly, helpful and efficient. We chose you because of your excellent selection of Gluten free meals. Everyone enjoyed their meals and a great time was had by all. We felt comfortable and not rushed which meant we had a great family time together. My comment would be it would be amazing if you returned your cheesecake from the Mini Puddings back to a choice as a pudding as it’s always been my favourite on your GF menu. Thank you for being amazing Rose and Crown.

We were greated in a friendly manner as soon as we walked in the door and made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, it appears to us this cafe is no longer in business..we walked completely around the several buildings in the vicinity after completing a leg of our Cotswold Way walk and awaiting transportation. There was no signage indicating a cafe either. Additionally the website link is defunct also. If I'm mistaken and we simply couldn't find it or some other reason, apologies and best of luck to others (and disregard the single star of course).
