Eggettes is such a gem in Keele! The bubble tea tastes amazing—easily some of the best I’ve had. The shop is cozy and full of adorable decorations, making it perfect for taking photos while you enjoy your drink. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or just relax. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Jesslyn Yeom, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. Plus, everything is really affordable. Highly recommend checking it out!

Amazing value , excellent food and staff friendly and helpful

Incredible food and fantastic service. The food and drink is pricey (£120 for two people, starters, mains and two drinks) but it is absolutely incredible and easily the best steak I've ever had. 10/10 highly recommended.

We've had 2 lovely family meals here now, on picking-up & dropping-off my son at uni. Both times were great. The food was delicious (I had the veg Thai curry, can't remember what everyone else had, but they all enjoyed their meals) with decent portion size, the staff friendly & customer service really good too.

This place is spotlessly clean with lovely staff. My son treated me to cheese & bacon oatcakes, which hit the spot perfectly. Good quality ingredients - some places use cheap, fatty, paper thin bacon and cheap tasteless cheese, but here, the quality is excellent! There are usually cheesecakes and cakes for sale too, also nice pies, or fresh sandwiches can be made. It's a little gem of a place. Of course, most importantly, it is spotlessly clean and the staff are lovely and friendly. What more can you ask for? >

Absolutely the worst pub in any st post code There was a open mic a few weeks ago when we attended some great singers where on one sang a England foot ball song 3 lions non offensive non family friendly song o it was at 9.45 and only adults in the pub Then all of a sudden the bar staff went and turned the sound system of and stopped all other singers as they said no English foot ball songs while we're in the soden euros and in the final We're proud to be in English and sing our songs with pride but your staff attitude needs to change !!! If I could give a 0 for stars I would I will never set foot in this place again

Friendly staff and good service. Relaxing music, combined with free WiFi and Internet access make it a pleasant environment to get your laptop out and get some work done.

We visit The Hand and Trumpet quite regularly and receive a loyalty meal ticket for each person per visit. It states on the tickets ' Six of these tickets can be exchanged for up to £12 off a main course or light bite from Monday to Thursday ( excluding Bank Holidays, set menus and ticketed events)'. Today was Tuesday and Christmas Eve, so met the criteria for using the card as it was not a Bank Holiday, we didn't have the set menu and it wasn't a ticketed event. However, we were refused when we offered our cards as part payment. The manager explained that he was unable to accept them following a company directive as Chistmas Eve is busy. However, this is not part of the conditions of the Meal Ticket offer. It is always a good idea to stick to the written terms and conditions rather than feeling the need to change them when it suits. The meal itself was beautiful, the staff were a delight but we left with a sour taste in our mouths as the company are not true to their word.
