Fantastic food and service..what a lovely place

Great English pub, with good food band atmosphere.

Such a lovely place to visit with fab facilities and amazing ice cream! However we have visited a few times now and the staff are so miserable except the 2 young lads today. Always presented with the same miserable man that always seems to be there and looking at the reviews it looks like we are not the only ones who feel the same. He was rude, unhelpful, everything was too much for him! Half our drinks were missing and we had to chase twice they eventually came after our food with no apology just a huff and grunt from him. The girl serving too was also very grumpy today. A real shame as poor grumpy service does put you off and ruins impressions.

Not like it used to be :( Just like any other chain pub.
