The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

This is the third time we have eaten at The Gallows. I have to say the food and the staff have been consistently excellent…! If you like what I call “real chips’ then you won’t be disappointed as they are the best I’ve tasted. I’ve had the steak sharer, the Katsu burger, and today the “Executioner” burger. All scored a 10/10 in my opinion. If you like good quality fresh cooked food and service with a smile then give this little gem a try you won’t be disappointed..!

The cakes here are excellent and the selection is constantly changing so there’s always something new to try. We try to visit at least once a week and we’ve yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend. Also great for breakfasts

A fantastic breakfast experience. friendly staff, clean and tidy. The quality of the breakfast was superb, hot and tasty. this is my favourite breakfast spot in the area at the moment.

Amazing people, amazing food and amazing atmosphere! Went to celebrate some good news as a family. Greeted by lovely warm people, the food was delicious and had that feel of the warm cozy hug of home cooked food. We have been before and will absolutely be back. Already planning our birthday breakfasts here for next year. Thank you for a lovely morning, fabulous food and we hope so see you again soon.

We came for luxury afternoon tea, this wasn't even standard quality. The place was freezing, we never took off our coats, sandwiches are where the 2 stars come from, the rest was embarrassing, Everything cut in half (jam tart, eclair, egg custard etc,) all cheap supermarket items, nothing other than sandwiches were made on the premises. Scones rock hard how can you have afternoon tea without fresh scones?, we left over half of what was there. Even the coffee wasn't hot! No way was this ever priced at almost £50. Worst one we've ever had. Shame because we tend to use a Groupon first then return to the venues to try other items, we definitely wouldn't go back here for anything. I'm so glad I didn't gift this one to anyone. I should've read the reviews on here before buying the voucher but the reviews on groupon are good (weirdly.)

This morning I was due to visit with 2 friends at 10am. I have a puppy so I tried to call from 9am at opening up to 9.45am before I set off and no answer. I left a message but no reply. I checked trip advisor and it said dog friendly as are most places now. When I arrived my friends were sat inside and waiting for drinks. I asked if I was OK to bring dog in they said only outside. Well it's February and 5 degrees. I mentioned I had called and Trip Advisor said dog friendly but all I got was yes just outside. I said well it needs to be made clear. What upset me the most was not that I had to leave but, not one member of staff came out to me to apologise for not answering phone or that Trip Advisor was misleading. Totally ignored and humillillating. My friend came out to hold the dog whilst I went in to say hello to my other friend and still nothing from staff 🙃. Totally disappointed 😞

A very nice pub, it's just been newly decorated too. Went again today for the second time, I've got to say the drinks are very keenly priced !

It was so busy, on the lead up to Christmas on what I call "black eye friday", we were served promptly, the food was spot on and staff although completely rushed off their feet, couldn't do enough for us, they were fantastic.

Food wasn't as nice as Dodworth Toby carvery in Barnsley or the atmosphere, servers at the table were friendly but the people near the food area were stressed and unfriendly.

We visited as a party of 12 family members for my 8 year olds birthday. Food was well priced and arrived quickly.

Lovely meal once again at my local beefeater. Food is top noch and the staff are fantastic. Made a miserable January feel just that little bit brighter

Sunday 2nd August 2020 had a group booking for 16 and every single one of us was well disappointed. Been here a few times but this was really bad . Spent £400. Starters were ok but mains meals were a joke. We got the usual saucer sized dish with one roast potato one tiny floret of broccoli and cauli and tiny bits of carrot. Over half the plate was empty . Then to top it all off 4 of our 16 chose cheesecake and every one was frozen solid . What a joke. Also there was no social distancing there were 4 more tables with 4 people on making it 36 people in the small room on the right . I noticed the even smaller room on the left near the bar was packed solid. Staff wore masks and there was hand gel available but we didn’t feel safe . Visit here at your peril . We certainly won’t ever go again .

Literally had my wedding reception and evening party yesterday at The Manor barn, what a great day, The staff was amazing, Sue was so attentive,The food was beautiful couldn't have asked for a better place Thank you all

Food was fantastic. We have lived on Woodlaithes for 9 years and been frequent visitors to the pub. When we first moved here it was excellent. However since then the food has been worse than poor for the majority of this time. Tonight, we decided to give the food another chance and I’m so glad we did. It was exceptional - fresh, tasty and plenty of it . Extremely good value for money and back to the woodman of old. Well done!!
