The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Castle Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

We wanted a drinks stop during a seafront walk for drinks and found this lovely, elevated bar overlooking the harbour area. All seats are outside, so opening is weather dependent, but we found fantastic seats and enjoyed drinks in the sunshine (the cocktails were amazing). Service was excellent from 2 friendly girls and the food menu looked good and reasonably priced. The bar was full when we left and we’ll definitely be back.

I was a bit early for a performance in the theatre so popped in here. I had a tea and a very nice bun. The cafe was busy with young people having various snacks and meals, which looked and smelled good.

Like their name suggests this is located on the pier, up three short flights of stairs. Some fantastic views. The service was friendly and efficient. Large breakfast came with toast (unfortunately elements of it were either undercooked and/or cold, but this was dealt with professionally) and a cappuccino which was good. Poached eggs on chopped tomatoes and bacon on sourdough toast was good, the eggs were good quality. The parking is free up until 9am right outside this busy establishment.

Best pub I’ve been to in Scarborough. Cosy and tasteful without being hipster or stuck up. Good cask ale selection.

Fantastic real ales and the landlord is extremely knowledgeable of his well kept beers. Different sports on the 9 TV’s available. Football memorabilia everywhere. Just a great cracking real pub.

Absolutely fabulous service from start to finish! Amelia you made us feel so at ease, looked after us amazingly. The food was incredible and such good value for money. Can't wait to return when we come back in the summer

My husband & I had jacket potatoes which were oven baked & very good. He had hot chilli & I had tuna mayo. Both were great. Our daughter had tuna melt baguette & chips which she really enjoyed. Food was hot, tasty & very reasonably priced. Would recommend & return.

I always pop in for a cappuccino if I am in town and I have to say it’s one of the best coffees I have had. Very smooth and not bitter at all. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. I also love to look at the dog board as my little pooch is on there! Highly recommend this cafe you will not be disappointed.

Stopped for a coffee and had to try the cake as it looked so good - it was possibly the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. It had a texture and taste more like a chocolate ganache - amazing. Great coffee and really friendly service too.

On a whim we went here on our last morning in Scarborough after having some less than disappointing breakfast elsewhere. Wish we'd gone here on our first morning as we would have been back each morning! Staff were friendly and welcoming, coffee (large latte) was lovely and cooked breakfast was spot on. Prices weren't much more than a wetherspoons breakfast but at a much higher quality. Will definitely return on our next scarborough trip.

Who needs to go abroad when you can sit outside at this little gem, absolutely fantastic when the sun is out shut your eyes and you could be anywhere, landlady has a brilliant sense of humour and looked after 10 of us brilliantly will be back again…..

Noone was in the cafe when we came in. Yet we arrived to dirty tables. We took a seat on a clean table and looked through the menu which offers some great choices. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes with chilli and a chorizo and mozzarella bagel. Meals came with fresh salad and the best coleslaw I've ever eaten! You have to order at the counter. Which was ok. And the lady was very friendly. The only downside was that despite on ourselves and one other lady being in the cafe. Noone checked our food was ok or came to clear plates and check how everything was. The later option would have been better for this kind of cafe. But just felt like we were left with dirty plates. Staff were friendly. Just need to make more of an appearance. But thank you for some amazing food.

I don’t know why it took me so long to try this cafe out but they serve the best coffee! I have been in a self catering apartment all week so will be coming here next year for breakfast. The owners are polite and chatty. Also noticed dogs were allowed in so added bonus as an animal lover.
