Popped in here for a bit of lunch after visiting the Castle, it was busy but the service was both swift and friendly. Really enjoyed the food, I had the Steak Burger the wife had a Tuna Sandwich, both excellent sized portions and freshly made, great value for money I thought and I could be a honoury tight Yorkshireman so I'm told. Only slight drawback for some was that it was a bit crowded but not overly so. Would definitely go again if back in the area, recommend it to anyone for a swift bite to eat.

I’ve been here a bunch of times, the staff are friendly and welcoming as soon as you arrive. They are polite & make my drink exactly how I want it and it’s super delicious! My new obsession! I always get the strawberry and banana milkshake it’s so good! :-)

This was our 3rd visit, twice for breakfast and once for lunch. Really nice brunch, fruit toast, eggs benedict and fruit cake, all delicious, very attentive service and a lovely old fashioned teapot.

Lovely cafe with nice surroundings, the food was gorgeous and the staff were friendly and efficient, especially the lovely lady Carolynne that served us. We will be back!

Memsahibs offer a very special dining experience, their attention to detail shines through in the service, flavours, presentation and ambience. We booked the Afternoon Tea for a birthday celebration, everyone was wowed, the dishes were delightful and the flavours......! 👌 Even the Gin and Tonic is an experience! Very much looking forward to our next visit and highly recommended.

We ordered a afternoon lunch selection for 25 people at our baby shower in Lincoln. The owner Dez could not do enough to meet our requests. He delivered a fantastic spread. The selection of sandwiches were delicious and he catered for everyone’s dietary needs. His homemade sausages and his scones with cream and strawberries went down a storm. They delivered to our venue, which took away all the added stress. Thanks again for delivering us a lovely spread on our special day. We will definitely use Margaret’s Tea Rooms a again.

Once again a brilliant evening at The Venture. Food and service was amazing as always. A well constructed Xmas menu made the choice really difficult but every dish was faultless. Fantastic value!

Amazing food and great service. Very reasonably priced and genuinely one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. The firecracker tofu was incredible. Well worth a visit even if you don't normally choose vegan or gluten free food, but my wife was thrilled that she could pick from the whole menu without having to worry. A 10% service charge is added to the bill, as is customary in many restaurants now - this was clearly advertised on the menu and we were offered the chance to remove it before we paid, but we were more than happy to leave it on as we had a lovely experience. We will definitely come again!

Absolutely fantastic food today as usual. Beautiful lunch and fabulous cheesecake for dessert in wonderful surroundings. Service is great. Well Don Gil and staff.

FABULOUS quirky little place to eat 👌❤️ Lovely welcoming, friendly owners and staff. DELICIOUS food and a fabulous selection of freshly baked homemade scones and cakes made by the owners. Lots to choose from the menu & specials board. I had the delightful homemade Pea & Ham soup with a cheese and ham scone. Doggie friendly with doggie treats on offer. A lovely real fire lit added to our cosy afternoon lunch. I love my food and would recommend this place. Lots of places offer coffee and food but a great deal on offer unfortunately is bulkmade and very processed. So, if you are looking for a lovely homemade selection visit this place. This is the most incredible, fantabulous, life-altering food I have ever had. I would eat if for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could. The chef is a cutie patootie who is so lovely and an incredible chef. I come here as often as I can. I have a job so I can come here more often to eat the food. You may think I am joking but I am deadly serious this is the best food I have ever eaten In. My. LIFE. I dread moving away from Plymouth because I can't stand to think I won't be able to eat this food often. GO HERE!!!!!

Best cocktail bar we’ve been to Kensington! Laszlo proudly pours classics with a twist and big smile. His old Tyme fashion was next level!! Adrish serves with a smile and engaging nature that is fun but not intrusive. We had a lovely time and highly recommend!!.
