Just had a fantastic breakfast delivered from here. Food was fresh, warm and quick delivery. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. 10/10

Paid my first visit to Cafe City today and I’ll definitely be back! The coffees were fantastic, the guy working was nice and friendly, not to mention the Red Velvet Cake and Biscoff Millionaire which were to die for! Great wee local cafe that I’ll be going back to when I’m in town.

really delicious ice cream, one thing i don’t like is that you feel a bit rushed while ordering but the staff mean well and they are polite.

Got a carry out tonight. waited 20 minutes to receive my order but didn’t mind as they seemed to be making everything fresh ! Got home to open the sausage suppers, the chips consisted of pieces of chips and chip ends all squashed together, not one single chip could be identified, just a congealed mass of stuck together bit of chips . For £12.80 terrible food. The plates that were being filled up for the sit in customers had lovely looking fresh chips, so not sure why ours were so bad…disappointing .

Coffee machine broken at home so went for some takeaway coffees. My cappuccino was like extremely diluted hot chocolate-all I could taste was chocolate dusting on some hot water and the espressos were worse than Nescafé. Couldn’t drink them. The flies were swarming around the uncovered cakes so I decided to stick to the diet.

Took too long to take our order, whilst staff were standing about, but it was delivered quickly, the staff were friendly, and the food was good and very reasonably priced. We will be back.

The staff are amazing, our server was friendly and helpful and we found all staff to be very lovely. The atmosphere of the place is really nice, very clean and stylish. The drinks menu was really impressive, and cocktails were incredible! The food was mostly good, loved the vegan options and the mushroom appetizer was especially wonderful but the tempura wasn't brilliant, but that's really our only issue with the food. I did also find it off putting that upon entering and exiting, smokers packed the area and as someone with a chronic lung issue it sent me into a coughing fit for a few minutes after leaving, I don't blame the staff but it really does put a damper on the evening regardless.

Many businesses are closing in Kilmarnock but not this one. Any lunchtime the tables inside are mostly occupied and there is a queue for takeaways. The food is great. I always enjoy whatever I have and the prices are so reasonable. Normally your plate will be piled up with food and as a rough estimate on price for a plate of hot food and a drink would be about £5 a head! MUCH better than a McDonald's AND you are supporting a local business.

Great for a friends game of pool. We loved it, great proper tables and not too stuffed in etc. I shall or we shall return

There was no welcome to the restaurant food was nothing to shout about service it was as if they didn't have time to talk when trying to order your food the veg was not cooked properly when we phoned we were told it was a carvery and when we got there it was service at table so won't be back absolutely disgusting

We went on a quiet night, food was really lovely. Service was very attentive.

once, twice, more than thrice, these clowns manage to F up orders. last 3 orders, half the order missing? Why? inability to move beyond the first number they see and assume that's the quantum (for the dumb Costa staff - this means number) of items. Instead, the quantum is noted as 2@, 3@ etc. Or a little bit of common sense. Look at the cost and think, does one coffee cost £19? Absolute morons. A shame when serving coffee is a competency step too far.
