I visited Clipstone recently and left absolutely full to the brim with delicious food and wine. The atmosphere of the place is so comforting and cosy. We were served by Kat who attended to our every need, recommending dishes and wines - we were stoked with her recommendations! The house smoked salmon and Yorkshire partridge pie were our favourites! Thanks so much for a lovely evening, I can't wait to come back!

We had the fresh sea bass for two, courgette spaghetti (both super nice) and the pumpkin with ricotta (not amazing) Would recommend!

XR se encuentra en algún lugar entre una buena cena y una cena informal. Todos los platos eran excelentes. ¡El Tomahawk Steak fue el ganador! XR se encuentra en el corazón del moderno Marylebone de Londres, bajo la atenta mirada del chef Carlo Scotto, y ofrece una prestigiosa experiencia gastronómica a la carta. 28 Portland Place, EnglandComimos aquí a mitad de la semana, sin reserva y el restaurante era razonablemente completa. Yo recomendaría reservar en fines de semana y otras veces lleno. El servicio era atento y profesional, y la calidad de la comida era excelente. No es barato, pero merece la pena. En general, una experiencia muy agradable.

36 Wigmore St, EnglandWorld class music. World class snobbery. We attended one of the late Sunday morning performances, which are perfectly timed for the weekend visitor. The music was absolutely exceptional. We enjoyed a flawless, virtuosic, performance in a venue with great acoustics. However, the atmosphere was intimidating and represented everything that's bad about the British establishment. Not exactly the fault of the venue, but most of the other audience members fell firmly into the pale and stale category and were unwelcoming at best, and downright rude at worst. Thankfully, the music (did I mention how good the music was?), just about compensated.

35 New Cavendish Street, EnglandWent for a Sunday lunch, which was extremely disappointing. Started off with espresso martinis, which were made without sweetener - when we asked for it to be re-made, the waitress came over and started explaining the ingredients and how we (the customer) were wrong. Eventually they re-made but we were still charged for the original. The food came within about 5 minutes of ordering, and was cold on arrival. They served parsnip puree on the side AND in an extra dish as well. Can't work out why that was. Other staff weren't welcoming, and the blue suede chairs all had stains on them. Plus, when I went to the toilets, they were some of the most disgusting I've seen - really poor cleanliness overall. The bill ended up being very expensive for what was a very dis-satisfactory meal.

20 Moxon Street, EnglandI’ve had good experiences at Le Vieux Comptoir in the past, dining there a couple of times last year and thoroughly enjoying their delicious food. I always ordered the same favorites: Foie Gras Poêlé with Apples & Shallots, Escargots, and Onion Soup. Unfortunately, this visit was a stark contrast. Most of the dishes I loved were unavailable, leaving me to settle for the Onion Soup, which turned out to be bland and tasteless. I decided to try something new—the Lyonnaise dish—but it was very average. To make matters worse, the desserts were a complete letdown. The apple tart, for instance, was soggy, as though it had been frozen and hastily microwaved. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I can only hope the chef was on holiday that day, and the kitchen staff struggled to maintain the usual standards.
