The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Firstly, the service was very good. A very noisy place and I couldn't hear much of my friends conversation unless I was next to them, there were 10 of us. Food, not good. Prawn shells in my starter and lamb was so tough, impossible to eat. Won't go back again, pricey too.

Restaurant looks very nice so we popped in for dinner. Server came quick kept asking was we ready to order very annoying. So we ordered they then lost our order we asked were a food was waited 30 minutes no apology. The food was fatty over cooked very poor quality. Would not recommend. Better restaurant in the area.

Truly shocking customer service. As frequent customers of Abarbistro/The ‘A’ Bar we were unbelievably let down by the awful display of customer service in this establishment. Tables so tightly packed together, people are on top of each other. We were refused our booked table for guests without a booking and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated at our own table as those guests had drinks (as did we) meaning we were perched by the door with a bottle of wine holding the cooler and the other drinks we ordered. When our mains arrived, a server came to take a Christmas booking from the table next to us and proceeded to perch her bottom on top of our table a matter of centimetres from one of our plates of food as we were dining. She didn’t move until we finished our plate of food which was imaginably repulsive and to try and eat next to. On alerting staff about this it took around 5 members of staff to alert a manager as we requested. Clear example of great communication and co-ordination skills amoung staff. Following this we wanted to swiftly remove ourselves from the venue and no longer wanted to continue dining or drinking there. No sever came round and offered us the bill after we refused desert and so went to the bar to request it. I politely asked if we could have the bill for our table and proceeded to have a hand in my face from the bartender of whom exclaimed ‘WAIT’. At this moment there were three members of staff on the bar of whom were not working but instead chatting. I would not interject if I thought they were busy serving other customers but this did not seem the case Even if the sever was busy at this moment something such as ‘I will be with you in a moment’ would have been more appropriate than an abrupt and certainly rude ‘WAIT’ with a hand in my face. I feel the display of customer service was truly appalling and will certify that this is a place I would never return to and finish recommending to family and friends. A real shame as it was somewhere i previously enjoyed and the food was nothing to complain of and enjoyable as it had previously been. Seems there is some serious brushing up to do on the treatment of customers.

Slug and Lettuce has a great atmosphere and serve fantastic cocktails. Dani and Jay looked after us when we came in for drinks with friends. They’re so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great experience our waiter JP was amazing he helped alot !!Food quality was good as well 👌 however does get quite hot in the restaurant as it is downstairs in basement.

My family had a lovely weekend af Tge Slaley Hall hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Food was first class and staff helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Very welcoming to families. Kids were looked after by staff very well.

I call in to do my work at least twice a week.... Always greeted by Martin who is always pleasant and helpful... Top Bloke...

Visited in freezing temperatures and had to take a very important call outside. I had no coat. Within 10 minutes of being outside the manager had come outside and placed his wool lined jacket over my shoulders. Service does not get better than that 👍

Absolutely shocking experience! We went as a family for breakfast, and both the food and service were appalling. The bread served to us was stale, and the soup was cold. We expressed our disappointment, but the response from a female staff was equally disheartening and extremely rude! A truly disappointing visit to Diyarbakir Restaurant on 69 Grand Parade, Green Lanes in Harringay.

Brilliant restaurant with great staff! I took my mother here for her birthday (it's one of our favourite restaurants) and let them know in advance, and they gave her a slice of cake with a candle and sang happy birthday to her! They have a great selection of food and drinks, especially the wine list, and I've always been really happy with whatever I've ordered - they're one of the only places I've been where I've enjoyed eating aubergine. The menu is especially great if you're vegetarian.

Slow cooked Lamb shank is a must try! Nice ambience!
