The weather conditions out there are terrible but the delivery was considerably later than the predicted. The food from Best Kebabs is the best, but not when it’s been prepared & not picked up on time! That’s a delivery problem.

Absolutely shocking. Desserts look like they are from Brake Bros. My children can present food better.

Looks can be deceiving. I took lovely photos of the food unfortunately, although the waitress was lovely, the food was not great. The seabass was very salty. The truffle Parmesan frites were soggy and chewy, drenched in oil. Perhaps grate the cheese and truffle on it instead. And the broccoli florets were boiled and bland. The custard for the crumble was runny like water. I feel so bad but I hope they take this and learn from this. For the price and type of brasserie, their food needs to be improved asap.

We were a big party of 25 celebrating a retirement, who had pre-ordered. We had time to chat before and then the food came promptly. A huge variety of choice. Super service throughout.

we came for dinner last night with a friend and I’d like to say that our main waitress (not sure of her name) was superb and we ensured we told her at the end of our service. the refurb makes a huge difference to what was once a “sticky floor pub” and the boujee menu looks appetising, however the food was still just above-average with tastes you could experience in a standard gastro-pub. we also had a long wait for our table despite there being an abundance of unoccupied tables !! we had originally gone in on the basis of 6 guests, however were quick to tell bar staff there would only be 3. for some reason this took them about 20 minutes to prepare our table when we could’ve been sat anywhere at that point, and we reminded staff twice that we were waiting to be seated (it took about 30 minutes from arrival to be seated). £145 for 3 people (no alcohol) which seems about right for the cost of eating out nowadays. I don’t think we’d be heading back unless someone who hasn’t been is really keen on going and I can imagine it’s a great place for a summer’s drink during the day due to close proximity to the seafront.

After 12 days of visitors we booked a night to unwind. We were greeted at reception by Vicky who was incredibly friendly and helpful. After upgrading us to a room that would be vacant, she guided us to the welcoming lounge area. The room was beyond excellent. A lovely sea view with balcony, bathroom with copper bath and a tv disguised as a mirror were highlights along with the superking (probably) bed. A comfortable good night’s sleep followed. (Room 2 4-5 Jan 25) Breakfast was equally great

Nice and relaxing. With a good menu. And Jackie is just the best waitress. Always so pleasant and accommodating. nothing is too much trouble.
