The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in England

Been here twice in last 2 weeks after 2 years of avoiding Nord as then the coffee, service & food so poor. A complete turnaround with new ownership now. Excellent fresh sandwiches- great coffee & tea. It’s good value for money. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Will be regular cafe for us.

Food was generally good but chicken and lamb was overcooked for me. Delivery was good. Probably worth a 3.5 star. Complimentary popadom was nice

Llamó a la oficina central con respecto a esto. El tipo era tan grosero que no podía entender una palabra. Dijo que había bajado el teléfono.

Fui en un día soleado a este restaurante con amigos La idea era tomar un bocadillo o también como hemos comido allí antes. Teníamos una mesa exterior, lo que nos da una sensación de un café continental. La camarera principal compró los menús, incluido un menú tailandés. Tuvimos una charla con ella y ella recomendó las opciones tailandesas. Nos alegramos de que lo hiciera, los platos eran excelentes. El servicio era excelente también.

Paré aquí para una baguette con jamón para un almuerzo rápido. Normalmente evito comer en Westfield pero tenía mucha hambre y me gustan sus baguettes. El servicio puede ser variable aquí. La última vez no existía y salí porque nadie vino a tomar mi pedido. Esta vez fue mejor y el servicio fue bastante amable. Mi baguette era bastante sabrosa y en realidad sabía auténticamente español. Ofrecen diferentes tipos de jamón y también algunos otros trozos como paella y patatas bravas, aunque siempre me quedo con el jamón. En cuanto a los alimentos, esto es mejor que 3 *, pero no puedo dar más debido a la inconsistencia.

Visited the garden centre and stayed for lunch. Had a wide variety of food on the menu. Food came quite quickly and staff were very polite. Would recommend it.

If you're a wheelchair user you can't even access the restaurant as the lift is broken. It's been broken for over a year. The manager gave some excuse about an issue with contractors.

Franco es performance art. Estar en casa de Franco es entrar en una comedia, puedes ser un extra o jugar un papel principal... la elección es tuya. El propio Franco interpreta el papel de un cabrón italiano que deliberadamente equivoca los nombres de algunas personas y se queja de lo duro que tiene que trabajar todo el tiempo, y se enoja si la gente pide demasiada comida. No hay opciones veganas.

We got lots of food for the money, which tasted great. Open until late and the hospitality was great. Definitely worth a visit!

Just visited the open jar today for a bottomless brunch. It wasn't very appealing. The staff member who served us was very nice and welcoming but the drinks didn't contain much alcohol and the food was really poor. It was quiet so we did have plenty of drinks but left quite sober, surprisingly! Half a baguette with 2 small pigs in blankets and 4 roast potatoes which also required a 2 pound supplement. £42.00 each in total. I wouldn't recommend it as a place to visit for a bottomless brunch.

We are walking some of the coast to coast and are staying at the Black Swan. We realised too late that the information we received from our travel agent about this restaurant was outdated. It used to be a creative dining experience, but now it is pretty terrible pub food . look elsewhere.

My husband and I enjoyed a really terrific two-course meal last night, using a Groupon offering two courses and a glass of wine each. Wonderful Paul poured wine most generously, a delicious Shiraz that went beautifully with our first course of mixed starters (a spicy kebab, perfectly deep fried butterfly prawn, and Afghani chicken that was the most tender I had ever had), followed by very tender lamb organ josh for my husband and equally good butter chicken for me with rice and fresh-cooked Roti. Everything was absolutely spot on in terms of cooking and flavors. My only suggestion would be to, as suggested by another diner, ask for a menu as one sits down. The evening was even better than we hoped for, and we only wish we lived a little closer, to visit more frequently.
