Pizza Express was a psychedelic circus, where reality danced on a thin crust. The food was a divine intervention—every bite a hallucination of flavours. The atmosphere thrummed like a jazz club in the dead of night, alive and pulsing. Service was a surreal tango, efficient yet erratic. Our waitress, bless her, floated through her own dimension, a ghostly wraith amidst the pizza euphoria. A trip worth taking, where even the madness had its own charm.

Left Nandos opposite because of the paucity of vegan options and pleased to have good food, comfort and good service in Pizza Hut.

Large tandoori chicken pizza with large fries for £11.50 Pizza was cooked well and tasted delicious. Crust was crunchy and their homemade pizza sauce base is delicious. Been coming here for years, highly recommend.

Great food and excellent service but very expensive. 4 adults and 3 children. 5 starters and 7 mains with 7 soft drinks and 2 beers came to £201.

Chris looked after us well. Food was great on the buffet. Loads of different options. Would recommend

we went in and we're ignored for about 10 minutes until someone finnaly came but then we were rejected a walk in as they were short staffed, then the employee walked away mid conversation.

The server was very nice. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable for dining in. The food was awesome. I like the fact that they will fix the pizza just like we like it (50/50).

Surprisingly very nice pizza for this restaurant tucked away in a back corner of the British Museum. The pizza cooks did a great job, see the pics of our pizzas. They were huge, very generous size which you could easily have for 2 people. As both struggled with one each. Only regret was I didn’t go out of my way to say great food to them on the way out… so thank you to the pizza team! As a recommendation you can prepay and save when you buy the tickets for the museum on line.

The confit duck leg was another highlight, cooked to perfection with tender, flavorful meat and crispy skin. The Hunter’s chicken delivered a comforting mix of juicy chicken smothered in a delicious sauce. The seabass was an absolute delight—crispy skin, tender flakes, and seasoned beautifully :P And let’s not forget the pizzas! The freshly made, stone-baked crust and authentic Italian toppings make them irresistible. Whether you’re a fan of classic Margherita or something more adventurous, there’s a pizza for everyone. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great vibes and amazing Italian dishes, The Chequers is definitely worth a visit!

A very nice chippy with Chinese food available. Prices are quite decent and the staff are very lovely. Would definitely recommend the rice/noodle boxes as they are great value for money and taste excellent. Never had any issues from here.

Unfortunately the pizza is not great considering we ordered extra cheese and they both came with very little on.
