Best fish and chips in herne bay

Wow, what a fantastic place, from entering, being shown to our table, the service with a smile. The food was perfectly cooked and fresh. Great views looking out over Whitstable Bay. The price was extremely good value for money. All in all an amazing experience, Thank you.

1st time using.... kebab and chips nice and tasty will be back when in area again

Friday Fish and Chips from Marino’s on St Dunstan’s St. Fab, as ever!

Dreadful cod fish, over battered and dry, I think it was cooked twice. Too many small chips. Overpriced very disappointing after going there for years. Dreadful.

Went here because other outlets were good. This has to be the stingiest fish and chips shop ever. I ordered large chips and the portion was tiny. I ordered a small cod and it was half a fish. Chips dry and generally dehydrated and massively over priced. Once bitten twice shy. I will not return. Well below average.

The t-shirt says it all-"Good Value, Good Service, Great Food!" What a find! Wonderful fish & chips. They're always busy. Come hungry!

We ordered a hot and cold selection of seafood. The hot dish was awful. The fish was frozen and very uniformed and the batter stodgy. One so called prawn had no prawn in it - just a lump of batter. All processed and revolting for £6.50. The cold dish slightly better but cheap crab sticks. Considering the place is well known for fish we would have got better in Iceland supermarket!

Service was very poor, didn't eat fish bites as lots of bones in them, still get charged full price, should state if not filleted as took a little bit to get bone out as not small

Not the best , oily , not yummy, the fish has no taste

Came here yesterday and had an excellent cod & chips, I had a gluten free version and it was delicious! They even had gluten free vinegar for me. Really nice guy behind the counter that served us. Great place, would recommend

Food poisoning after having oysters, mussels, lobster here

I've been here a few times for the great price for the amount of food you get. I only recently found out that the chips that come with the meal deals are the small portions instead of the medium ones; they just give you that many chips! Honestly one of my favourite places to get food from the past few years.
