Lovely fish and chips! Arrives nice and hot, timely delivery, fabulous 😋

Great city centre pub. Lovely friendly staff. Good wine list. Food - the pie and mash were great. The garden peas were absolutely revolting. I think the chef needs to learn how to cook peas. They were inedible.

Vibey place to eat & drink along the Harbour! Staff were friendly also! A relaxing place to relax and work.

Oh the chips! Only criticism? The venue looked tired, price list on wall was a touch illegible, floor and entrance door grubby. However staff friendly, and the chips were divine!

Lovely fish & chips and friendly service! Was in the area for new years with my dogs, I asked for a jumbo sausage for them and they cut it up for me which I thought was a lovely touch. (The dogs loved it btw!!). Will certainly visit again when I’m back in the area.

Very good fish and chip shop, fresh fish with a light batter and it’s always a good sign when you have to wait for it to cooked

We often get fish and chips from here, definitely the best in Tenterden! Marino’s also recently supplied about 50 meals for an event in our local village hall. Everything was still really hot and well cooked and there were lots of comments about how good they were! Thank you to everyone at Marino’s , it helped to make a great evening.

You get what you pay for. I’ve had my fair share of fish and chips and I would list this at the bottom. It’s one of those fish and chips wherein you can really taste the oiliness of it and didn’t feel too well after eating it. Their chips were soggy and really nothing special.

Been here before never had a problem until today. Paid £14 which is expensive but we were on a day out so it was a treat. 1st thing we noticed how quiet it was for lunch time it's usual bombed out. Meal came quickly Fish small chips were scraps peas in eggcup also not so hot. My friend and I both left half our meal which we never do the girl asked us if everything was OK so we said no and told her why so she apologised. When we went to pay another woman served us never said a word no apology or anything. Pity really won't ever go again extortionate prices for below average food. There are plenty of other nice places to eat in Garstang but avoid this like the plague

Obviously new ownership used to come her all the time wil be coming back again the fish was like cheap frozen from Iceland cut into it grease poured out chips were like frozen chips not real pot if gravy was tepid battered mushrooms were hard and swimming in grease bring bk the old ownership

Always friendly service. Food is always 5*. Ive always paid by card when visiting.
