The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Great seafood. Never really been to a dedicated seafood place but very tasty! FYI we found best value nearby parking at Amwell St, EC1R 1UL!

Never usually have fish and chips unless I'm at the coast, they are very often a disappointment. The King Fryer is an exception!!! The fish and chips are delicious, the batter is crisp and not too thick. The fish, firm and white. They also make fish patties which are gorgeous. The owner and staff are lovely and the shop is immaculately clean.

Really tasty, well cooked and not at all greasy. Best fish and ships by far. Nice people , friendly and helpful.

Placed a large order for a local care home the owner claimed in future had to order by 3.30pm for a tea time order. The owner was very rude despite bringing around a £90 order. The order was wrong with several meals being incomplete we felt uneasy about complaining after his abruptness over a large order I know as a community we are to support local businesses however we shall not be using their establishment again. There are other local chip shops that will welcome our order ie Blue Whale. So disappointed that an actual businesses can afford to throw away what could have been a potential regular order.

It was a wet Friday evening in September and I ordered a Chinese takeaway to be delivered. It said it would be 45 mins and when I’d waited over an hour I called the restaurant and was told that as it was wet the driver didn’t want to come out and deliver my order! Can you believe it! I’ve never heard anything like it. Avoid this restaurant at all costs and give your business to a restaurant with morals and who deserve your custom

Properly one of the worst fish and chips I have ever seen grease sloppy awful slimmy full of grease I work hard for mymoney26.00 which would have been better spent

I had mid size fish and chips. It was delicious and it was large quantity. I will like to visit the shop again.

We decided to buy our takeaway seafood lunch here, rather than at one of the market stalls, thinking we were helping an important local enterprise. We should have checked their prices 1st (none on display). For 2 warm kipper rolls (not huge) and a wee tub of cockles and one of mussels, it was £25. My partner was especially looking forward to the shellfish, but they were tasteless and he felt the mussels weren't even fresh (we did see them bringing items out of a freezer.) I returned, thinking the assistant had perhaps made a mistake; when I pointed out how much cheaper similar items were from the market stalls, she replied " But they won't be as good." I countered that the shellfish were tasteless, with no trace of salt or vinegar. "You should have added your own" she said, though my partner hadn't been told this. Very poor value for money.

Fried chicken was put in a box with the chips and was dripping with grease/ and soaked with condensation. The chicken boxes are supposed to be used for chicken. Large cod was seen through the paper due to excessive grease. This isn’t the first time we’ve had an overly greasy take away from here, i understand it’s a greasy kind of meal, but you shouldn’t have to throw food away because it’s past the point of eating. Overall an absolute shambles and a waste of money. Wings were ok though on a positive note, probably down to them being packaged correctly. Still hungry

I have ordered a few times over the last couple of weeks and the service was spot on the fish was of a good size for the price bigger than other fish in the area that I will not be using again delivered hot no problems great service

El pescado estaba bien, pero estoy convencido de que estaba congelado y descongelado, lo que explica el pescado insípido. Ahora, en las fichas, en realidad eran fichas congeladas de una bolsa, no como un chippy tradicional, lo que en realidad fue impactante. El servicio parecía estar bien, pero la comida no parecía estar a la altura del servicio. Lamentablemente no volverá.

Amazing place! The food was brilliant and staff was lovely! Will defiantly be returning and taking my children! I know they will love place!

Customer service is terrible, food serving is terrible as it takes a long. i had to wait for my food to be served after 2 hours on two occasions. they do not ask what you want and do not want to be included in the foods.

Food was brilliant and great value for money. Very friendly staff and order was placed before arrival. Well worth a visit and I would say the best local chip shop in the area!
