The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Absolutely no idea why people go here. Food quality is terrible. Rock hard chips and overcooked fish. Not that cheap either. Far superior fish and chips can be found just round the corner at Wendover Plaice. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

For us the fish is the best around, and we are regulars. Really good, every time. Good portions of chips too.

Stumbled across this fab cafe whilst walking along the canal from Limpley Stoke. It has fully embedded gluten free options which is a rare find. Apparently they have a gf food stall at the Bath Christmas market. Banana, chocolate and walnut cafe with a coffee was great. Marshfield ice creams there too. Full meals served too.

I have my fish and chips on a Monday or Tuesday as I need to have the Gluten Free version. The batter is always good, as is the quality of the fish and the chips. We recently used Big Fry for a fundraising event, the quality and service was excellent. I find the portions very adequate. I normally add a few vegetables when I get them home. A pleasant atmosphere today in the shop with various ages there - all waiting with excitement.

Lovely atmosphere, staff plentiful and willing to help if needed. Spotlessly clean Lovely food presented beautifully and hot. Grandchildren loved the ice cream machine, will definitely be back 😋 😍

Ordered a banquet for 1. Chicken sweetcorn soup watery with a few pieces of chicken and a few bits of sweetcorn. Ribs not much on them Spring rolls nice Special curry watery no flavour whatsoever with chips that were full of eyes and soggy. Waste of £15. Only used Paul’s as the best chippy Terrys wasn’t open today.

Awful experience at what was our favourite chip shop. The staff were so slow to prepare the food it was cold by the time we got it home, we were the only ones in there! They were more concerned with cleaning up. The food was shocking! £8 for a ‘large’ cod which was the same size as the mini cod. The fish was so old it was rubbery and chewy and not at all pleasant and the battered sausage was shrivelled and had no batter on. £29 for a meal that went in the bin, disgraceful.

Great chip shop but I had to knock a star off because it is not as good as it used to b e. The last 5 years or so the chips have been tasteless and dry, they use to taste amazing and be lovely and soft. The fish is still ok. Maybe they have started using a cheaper oil?

I purchased 1 x medium cod , 1 portion chicken nuggets and 1 x sausage in batter. Only 1 large chips to share and curry sauce and mushy peas . £29 later ….OMG what a rip off!!

Possibly the worst fish and chips ever. Fishcake was like breaded carpet underlay completely tasteless, chips cold and all tiny bits some burnt dark brown. Only decent thing was cod with light batter. But definitely won't go back.

El Saveloy era duro y frío. Sin cocer por dentro y quemado por fuera. Desafortunadamente el servicio al cliente no es su fuerte. No volveré a pedir a través de ellos.

Worst fish and chips we have ever had. Chips greasy, Owner ignorant. Had a long wait to get our food. No where to sit down and wait. Used to be excelent until it changed hands.
