Visited with a friend as we fancied somewhere a bit different. Nicely decorated with a cosy Spanish feel. Staff were friendly and conversational. When we went it was £8.50 for three dishes, which makes for a very decent meal and the food was all very pleasant - my friend had the mussels which were particularly generous. The only slight let down was the chocolate fondue for two people, which consisted mainly of chopped apple and banana, and could have been more generous with the strawberries/churros at almost £10. But overall very good value and a solid choice for anyone bored of pizza/pasta/burger.

This bar was very quiet in the early afternoon when I stopped for a beer. However, the decor, standard of cleanliness, and choice of beers was impressive. I was served by Lauren who is very friendly, efficient, and extremely good at relating to customers. I was impressed. She gave me a dinner recommendation for Craobh (Kroov - tree in Gaelic) for tomorrow night. I looked at the menu and was hooked. The only time they could accommodate me was at 4:45pm, which I gratefully accepted. Good sign if they are so popular. Review to follow. Thanks Lauren. You are a great advert for your employer.

Never been here before and I thought overall it was pretty good. I've been lucky to have eaten a lot of Tapas style food in Spain over the years and having recently eaten at Rioja also in Glasgow I was tempering my enthusiasm (Rioja is very good)So Friday night, not that busy but food was good. I'm not that keen on Paprika and I found that to be used a fair bit, beef quality could have been better. However wine was fantastic, and price I'm not kidding was half that of Rioja3* Average is maybe a bit harsh, I would go back and for £15 a head for food the value cannot be beaten.

It is not a strictly Spanish place, it is influenced by Indian food. From what they told me, its owner is from there and he and a friend love Spain and opened this restaurant. The service is exemplary and the food was very delicious. Quality/price is great. We were very comfortable and we want to return to try more things. I'm not sure what the waitress's name is, maybe “Seli”? Thank you very much for being so kind and making us have a great dinner. We ordered some chickpeas that were delicious with a sweet flavor at the end, the cheese boards were so big that we ordered takeout because they were sad not to eat it, it was delicious. I recommend putting the bread in a basket and serving hot, not on a board which is very strange.

Well, so far not great because I can't even get a table booked! Called at 10:45am to book a table for 2, I was hung up on as soon as I said that. Tried to call back, went straight to voice mail. Called a few minutes later and the call was hung up again after a couple of seconds of silence (restaurant background noise could be heard). Oh well, I guess you don't even want customers in the door!

Awesome staff here! Visiting from the US, the staff was very helpful with local recommendations of food, and things to do around St. Andrews. The atmosphere was setup for the Christmas season and provided that down to earth pub vibe with Christmas music playing in the background. Excellent top notch beers were on tap and one hand drawn barrel aged cider. Session brews and higher abv selection abound. My favorite was the Scotch ale, barrel age cider, and Hallow stout. I would definitely recommend this establishment as a must stop in when in St. Andrews. Thanks for the great memories Eve, Cash, and Leo. I'm looking forward to coming back.

We had a fantastic meal here. Recommend the mussels. Fresh food and quick service plus great true Spanish atmosphere Update We managed to go back to La Tortilla and we were really looking forward to it after our last visit. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice, the staff are very friendly and the wine was excellent however the food has gone down hill. The Tortilla was dry and tough, the patatas bravas were also quite dry and unevenly cooked, asparagus salad had two quite raw pieces of asparagus sitting on a bowl of rocket, the meatballs however were OK. Would still recommend a glass of wine and some olives.

Estupendo!
