The best restaurants serving Tapas food in West Midlands

Firstly the Chef Absolutely fantastic choice variation and taste from any one of the 7 courses and breakfast I could choose from one because they all tasted fantastic . A chef that comes out to ask if you are enjoying your plate makes you feel very special. Front of house Superb from the first minute to when we left you made us feel completely relaxed and part of something special. Never saw you sit down but watched and enjoyed your attention to detail and connection with every customer is something a lot of the finer eating establishments could learn from Superb. Waiting staff What a bunch of lovely people smiling and enjoying the evening you never even had to ask for a drink as soon as your glass was running low it was topped up or refreshed with some more lovely wine. Would be great to be able to see the menu on your new website but DIVA MEDIA is obviously doing its best to ruin your business, sorry wont be coming for breakfast any time soon!

As a family, we do a chip review and these were a 5 out of 5 (chunky chips were the best). The service here was quick and friendly. Lovely real fire and dog friendly too. Kids loved the hot chocolate and amazing marshmallows. Thank you!

Overpriced, poor food, bad service.

Despite the huge birthday party taking up the whole of the ground floor, the staff at Gilbies - and particularly our waitress Rachel - looked after the two of us wonderfully well. We were given a table up on the mezzanine floor, our drinks were brought and our order taken nice and quickly, and then the food turned up in really good time. And the food was great! A selection of delicious tapas dishes, the star of the show being the Teriyaki belly pork (we'd eaten here before, so we ordered two portions). The party downstairs was in full swing when we left, wishing the staff good luck for the rest of the evening. Another memorable meal, and we'll definitely book in at Gilbies again, next time we're down Hereford way.
