The best restaurants serving Thai food in St Albans East of England

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant but they really need to do something about their metal chairs. They need thicker cushions on the seats. It spoilt the evening by being very uncomfortable.

Just sitting down for a new years eve meal and very disappointed with the service, we were sat for a table for 2 near the door where there is constant good delivery drivers coming in and out with the door slamming constantly, still waiting for our food after an hour, end how can you call yourself an authentic Thai restaurant and not serve som tum( papaya salad).

Very welcoming and nice staff, food is brilliant, first time having Thai and I absolutely loved it.

My wife and I have been to this place a bunch of times over the years, but since we moved away, we haven’t been in a while. It’s still as great as ever! We had salad and chicken satay, then Phad Thai and Weeping Tiger. The food and service were top-notch.

The Goat Inn are amazing! I booked a room there for my partner's 30th birthday party (50 guests) and the whole team were so helpful and clear with communication when organising the whole event from start to finish. The food was fantastic, and we were allowed to decorate our area with own decorations. Staff were so helpful and lovely on the night too. I would definitely recommend The Goat Inn for anyone looking to book a room for a party. We will definitely be back.

Drove down from Northumberland to visit family in Harpenden. After 6 hours in the car just wanted some quick hot food and so we passed here and tried it. Quick service, good portion sizes and nice enough food. We didn't sample a great deal of the menu, but kids enjoyed their chow mein and my Singapore noodles was good. Free prawn crackers and a friendly guy serving.
